We finally left the hospital. We decided to take a detour before we went back to the hotel. Vegas was a really pretty city, if you didn't look at the bad stuff. Slash started humming Sweet Child O' Mine, a song they recorded earlier this year. "I feel like everyone is going to love that song. It's fucking awesome."
Slash nodded his head in agreement, "I love that song so much myself. I'll never get sick of it."
"So, what are the plans for tonight?" Stephani asked.
I looked back at her, "Well, I plan on staying in the hotel and watching a movie with you."
"Why? I thought you wanted to go out and have fun."
"Yeah, but you just got released out of the hospital. I want to stay with you. Plus, I'm not in the mood anymore to go out."
"Okay. We can watch a movie if you'd like."
"Is that cool with you babe?" I looked over at Slash.
He nodded his head, "Sure. Is it cool if I stay with you guys?"
"Of course." I smiled, then I touched his hair, "I'm in-love with your hair."
He smiled, "Okay, weirdo."
"Is it okay if I join you guys? I'm still pretty upset with Axl. He killed my mood." Duff said.
"Duff, you're always welcome to join us."
We finally got back to the hotel. We parked in the back, and went in through the back door. None of us really wanted to deal with photographers. Especially if that one guy is in there still. After we walked down a long hallway, we reached another set of elevators. We got in and rode up to our floor.Slash unlocked the door, and allowed Stephani to walk in first, the rest of us followed. Everyone got around Stephani and started asking her questions, and hugging her.
Jessica pulled me off to the side, "Have you seen your asshole of a brother?"
"No. Why, is he not here?"
She shook her head, "Izzy's afraid he won't show up for the show tomorrow night either. When your brother gets mad, he gets mad. He goes out and drinks his body weight, and doesn't sometimes show up for days."
"Fucking prick." I folded my arms, "Can you please help me find him?"
"Sure. We can start tomorrow morning, if you'd like."
I looked over at Stephani, "Yeah, okay. I already promised Steph that I'd stay in tonight and watch a movie with her." I looked back at Jessica, "Besides, Axl's a big boy, I'm sure he would be fine tonight."
"He's probably sleeping in some cheap motel on the edge of the city."
"Most likely that's the case." I sat down on the couch. Before I got too comfortable, the phone rang. I picked it up, "Yeah?"
"Alex? Is that you?"
"Yeah it's me. Axl? Where are you?"
"Small problem. I uh-I got arrested."
"Jesus Christ Axl. What did you do?"
"I kind of....pissed....on a cop car."
"Jesus Christ." I repeated.
"Can you and Slash come get me?"
I sighed, "Yeah, okay. I guess."
"Can it be only you and Slash? No one else."
"Fine. We'll be there soon." I hung the phone up, then rubbed my temples.
"So, Axl got arrested, I'm guessing?" Jessica asked me.
"Yup." I stood up, "I gotta bail him out." I grabbed Slash's arm, "We have to go."
"Why?"
"Shitface got arrested."
He shook his head, "What did he do now?"
"He pissed on a God damn cop car!" I opened the door.
"Wait, where are you going?" Stephani asked as she approached us.
"I have to go out, but I will be back in less than an hour."
"Where are you going?" She repeated.
I sighed, "Axl got arrested, so I have to bail his ass out."
She rolled her eyes, "Don't. He deserves to be in there for the night."
"Steph, I know you're really, really upset with him, but he's still my brother. I can't just leave him there over-night."
"Why not? He's left you places over night several times before!"
She had a point. He has left me at several houses before when we would go partying. But there was a part of me that felt bad for leaving him in a jail cell. I mean, that's a lot worse than someone's house.
"Babe, I will be back later. I can't leave him. I'm sorry." I walked out of the room, and Slash followed.
"I feel kind of bad that we're bringing him back here. What's going to happen?"
"I don't know. But deep down, I'm praying that he'll apologize to Steph. She deserves an apology from him. But I've never heard him say sorry a day in my life."
"I have. Once. He was drunk as hell, and he knocked something over and said he was sorry."
"Wow, that's a shocker." I got in the elevator. He stepped in beside me and looked at me. "What?"
"Nothing, you're just so perfect."
I smiled, "Thank you, but I'm not perfect. You are."
He laughed, "We are so gross."
"I know we are."
