Chapter 16

(Btw I skipped like half of the day in case you were confused 😂)

We got ready for the party and left before the boys did. It was about 7:30 so we decided to go ahead and leave. Shaynah and I were both wearing dresses. Rare. We never wear dresses.
My dress was black and a baby blue color with a bow in the front (the pic above)
We got to the party and there were about 30-40 people there already. The party actually didn't start till 8:30 so we were a little early. The boys got there only a few minutes after we did. The party started and nothing really happened we ate but that's about it. It finally got dark and the disco lights came on and they started playing music on the speakers.  We actually hadn't talked to any of the boys at all until Taylor came up to me.
We talked for a while and then he asked me if I wanted to go walk on the beach so I said yes. The music was loud and I was starting to get a headache. I told Shaynah were I was going and she said okay.
"You look really pretty" Taylor said looking down as we were walking.
"Thanks" I said smiling. I knew I was blushing because I felt my face get warm. After that we just had a normal conversation. Then there was a moment of silence as we were walking. I could tell he was trying to hold my hand because he kept moving his closer. So I just grabbed his. Our fingers intertwined and we were both smiling.
"Kylie?"
"Yes Taylor"
