Metamorphosis 2: The Ecliptic Kiss

Chapter 1

{Ezzy's POV}

I woke up to a bright sunny morning and birds chirping outside of my window. I looked in the direction of my feet and saw my big belly in the way. I smiled and realized that in less than two weeks she'd be in my arms. Today I just had to get up and get ready because the guys were coming from Lup Oras and we had a lot to talk about. I had not seen them in that long and they still don't know about Annie, or at least the guys don't.

“How are you today?” Ethan asked coming in.

“Good,”I replied. “Help me up, though.”

He chuckled at the sight of me struggling. He streched his hands toward me and I took them. He lifted me up effortlessly, but gently. “Do you realize that with everyday that goes by, you look even more amazing?”

I smiled at him while stretching. I walked up to him and kissed his lips. “Thank you for lying.”

“I'm not lying, you look incredible. This is one of two most beautiful states a women will ever get to.”

“What's the second one?”

“When the baby's born,” he said.

“How's that?”

“All women have a certain motherly glow when the baby's born. It's pretty amazing and you guys look more amazing than ever.”

“I have to be the luckiest girl in the world. I could've landed with another guys, but instead I landed with the most amazing guy in the whole world. I don't deserve you.”

“You're joking right? I got the most powerful werewolf...girl in the whole world. She's beautiful, smart, talented, and you're going to be an amazing mother. You're already one for Kevin. I couldn't have asked for anyone better for him or for me.”

I blushed. He cupped my chin and kissed me softly. He was a truly amazing guy. Even so, thinking about Elias was not something I love to do when I'm around Ethan, but it's hard to. A few times, he's caught me, but he understands, or at least that's what he says every time. He also makes it clear that he knows I'm trying. If there is anything I love about him, it's that. He never throws it in my face that I'm still in love with the idiot that broke my heart.

“Okay so now get ready because everyone will be here in a little while. I will be downstairs preparing breakfast. Just yell if you need anything.”

“Okay,” I said giving him one last kiss. “You're the best.”

He left the room smiling and I got all of my things to take a shower. I took the shower and got ready afterward. I looked at myself in the mirror sideways. I loved seeing my belly grow everyday. It only reminded me of Annie and it also made me more excited for when she would be here with me in my arms.

“Staring at your belly won't make her come out any sooner,” I heard a familiar voice say from the door.

“Karter!” I yelled.

I looked at the door and she and Elli were standing there with huge smiles on the faces.

“Oh my, God, you look incredible,” Elli said hugging me. “My niece is in there. May I talk to her?” she asked excited.
