Chapter 5

{Ezzy's POV}

I wanted to kill Silvia. I wanted to see her suffer as I slowly ate her face and the blood dripped down my throat. I wanted to feel that pleasure of killing her, oh how I wanted it. I wanted to break her tiny bones, bone by bone and I wanted to make her watch as I slowly and painfully did it. She does not have a right to mess with my child. She has no right to even come near her. That little harlot will one day pay for even attempting to do anything to Annie. She's already on the way to paying for what she's done to our lives, and I will make sure that she pays for it all. Little, by little and as painful as I can make it.

I walked into Annie's room again and Ethan was sitting there next to her playing peak-a-boo with her. She did her baby giggle and it made my heart skip with happiness knowing that she was okay. Her smile made me smile. It's so strange being a mother now. You can't do anything like you used to. I'm not complaining, but it's all different. I'd give my life for her, and against anything in life.

“Are you okay?” Ethan asked, sort of worried now.

“Yeah,” I lied. Even if I was happy Annie was going to be okay and that she was happy, I was still pissed. That wasn't going to change any time soon. It was infuriating.

“Ezzy, it's over. Annie's going to be okay,” he said.

“It's not that,” I replied. I took in a deep breath, hesitant of wanting to tell him. Well, if I was going to marry him, I had to start to tell him everything right? Especially since he was going to be Annie's “real” father. “Ethan, Annie didn't end up here on her own.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Siliva put her ring in Annie's mouth and caused her to end up here.”

“What?”

“Yeah, she pissed me off,” I replied.

“Did you...”

“I warned Elias to keep her away from us.”

“Ezzy, threatening him is not going to do much.”

“It worked, he was very much so afraid of me. It worked, trust me.”

“Ezzy, I get that you're pissed, but you have to put a better example for them,” he said pointing to Annie and also meaning Kevin. “If you knew me before having Kevin, you'd be surprised of how I acted and who I was. I was a pure mess.”

“I don't know much about your past, now that I think about it,” I replied.

“Yeah, there's a reason for that. I was worse then what you were when you came to Lup Oras. I was an utter mess, Ezzy. Remember when I told you that my mom said to me to never think of her as anything other than my mom because she loved me like her son?”

I nodded.

“Well, I didn't care about the Generation, I was into hardcore drugs, I even ended up killing humans for fun, Ezzy. I was a horrible person back then. I, still to this day, can't forgive myself for doing all those horrible things. And the only reason why I even did all those horrid things, is because I looked at myself in the mirror and thought that everyone saw a defenseless poor idiot because he was the only forgotten boy. Ula tried everything to get me out of it, and she said that to me. I didn't listen. I was lost in my own sorrow and then Gazelle came and changed all that. She then became pregnant and I knew I had to change because no one saw me like that except myself.”
