Scarlett Dove walked around the Hogwarts Grounds, her eyes searching for something. Her eyes landed on a pair of footprints. She grinned and followed them to the edge of the Forbidden Forest. She rolled her eyes.
"Sirius! Found you!" She called out.
There was a rustling of a bush before a tall figure stepped out. His long, black hair flew all around him in all directions as he walked towards the girl.
"How are you so good at this?" Sirius Black huffed, playfully glaring at Scarlett.
Scarlett rolled her eyes and grinned.
"Because I'm not stupid enough to leave my footsteps in the open, idiot,"
Sirius' eyes widened.
"Oh!"
"Yeah, oh!" She said with another roll of her eyes.
Sirius grinned and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder. She squealed and laughed, thrashing around.
" Sirius!" She laughed, shaking her head, "Put me down!"
Sirius smirked.
"Nah, I'm enjoying the view from here," He said with a smirk.
Scarlett snorted.
"I'll spit on you!" She threatened.
Sirius gasped.
"You wouldn't!"
"I would," She said, "If you don't put me down."
Sirius looked back and grinned at her.
"I'll take the risk,"
Scarlett laughed and kept thrashing around.
"Sirius! I'm serious!"
"No, I am!" He joked.
"That's getting old!" Scarlett said.
"I don't think it is,"
Scarlett groaned and went limp, letting him carry her into Hogwarts.
"Mr. Black, what are you doing to Miss Dove?"
"Carrying her. What does it look like, Professor?"
McGonagall rolled her eyes.
"Why are you carrying her?"
"She's annoying- OW!"
Scarlett thumped him on the back of his head with great difficulty.
"Shut up, Sirius!"
Sirius grinned at the Professor.
McGonagall sighed and shook her head, hiding a smile.
"You may go, Mr. Black,"
"Thanks, Professor!" Sirius yelled over his other shoulder as he ran down the corridors.
Scarlett squealed and laughed, thrashing when he took a sharp turn.
"Sirius, I swear if you do anything bad-"
Sirius took a U-turn and ran out of Hogwarts, smirking. He lifted Scarlett up over his head, and threw her in the Black Lake.
She screamed and surfaced quickly, dragging herself out.
"Sirius!" She shrieked.
Sirius' eyes widened and he ran, but he knew it was no use. She caught up quickly, jumping on his back and soaking him.
"Scarlett! Ugh! This shirt was new!"
Scarlett laughed.
"You girl!"
