Chapter 31

Vienne's POV

I gripped the bars. The hooded man was hoodless now so i could see his face better. Since the door is still open the light was reflecting his silver crown. "Thank god i found you." He said. He chanted some strange words i couldn't understand. All of a sudden the cage felt...Lighter? Did he lift the barrier? I stretched my arm out through the bars. There was nothing blocking it. He did lift out the spell. I stood in a position that can fit through he gap between the bars.

I jumped out of the cage, stumbled a bit back when i landed. When i caught my balance i looked at Seto, who seemed to be happy. But his smile didn't last for long. "We have to get out of here, now!" He grabbed my hand and chanted the familiar teleportation spell. In just seconds we were in someplace else. We were at a foot of the staircase. Seto ran up the staircase, and since he was still holding my hand i was forced to follow him. When we reached the end of it we heard faint screaming in the distance. Seto let go of my hand and ran to the railing. I followed him and looked at what he was looking. There was a battle! There seemed to be...two Herobrines? They were fighting each other. Well one of the Herobrines had an amulet and the other looked a bit shorter and had longer hair tied into a small ponytail. I looked at Seto, who gasped at the two fighting.

Another detail of the scene was that there was a female body collapsed on the floor. The most noticeable features was her long red hair that seemed to reach her ass. And she also looked familiar. Like she was that girl who i arrested in the market. Which turned out to be true. Me and Seto walked closer to the scene. Upon closer look she definitely was the same girl from the market. I felt the urge to go down there and help the girl in the fight scene.

But i was already too late before i even considered the thought of jumping down there. Seto teleported with god's speed back and forth. Seto placed the girl gently on the ground. I knelt beside the girl. She seemed to be unconscious. Seto knelt beside me, having this worried expression on his face. He seemed to be...crying? "No..." Were the only words that could come out of his mouth. I looked away. Did Seto have something with this girl? Oh well.

I stood up, looking back down at the fight. It seemed that the amulet Herobrine was winning. I didn't know if that was a good thing or not.

Out of the blue a fireball emerged from where i came from and hit the Herobrine with the amulet. The other Herobrine looked at our direction and gasped. Slowly he transformed into a different form. One i am familiar with. He transformed into...Sky! "S-seto?!" He stuttered. There was clearly fear in his voice, which i didn't understand. I looked at Seto...Or who was supposed to be Seto. Right now he looked more like an Ender Dragon hybrid. He had a large horns, a scaly tail and to finish it off, the huge black pair of wings. (See book art since i suck at explaining)

Seto narrowed his eyes and lowered the arm he used to shoot the fireball. I took a step back. It was the first time i've seen him like this.

"Don't you dare touching her EVER again!" He growled and lunged at Herobrine, who was still against the wall. Just on last minute he managed to put a barrier around him. "Ahh, Seto. Have i angered you so much?" He grinned, angering Seto even more. Seto unsheathed his claws and stabbed the barrier. Surprisingly it went trough the barrier. It must have surprised Herobrine as well, since he jumped back at the sudden invasion. His eyes widened when Seto started rip open the barrier.

"Seto!" Someone shouted. Everyone looked at the large doors, which were wide open. And right in front of them was the one and only, Max.

I looked back at Herobrine, who seemed nervous. He clutched at the amulet and held it high. He shouted some words i couldn't really understand. A blinding light appeared on the amulet. It was so bright i had to cover my eyes. But even if my eyes are closed, i couldn't ignore the ear piercing scream. And i didn't know who it came from.

When the blinding light died down i removed my arms. I blinked a few times till my eyes were adjusted enough to the current light level. Now i could see what horribleness was down there. Max and Sky seemed to be fine. But Seto on the other hand...was a bloody mess...

Ty's POV

I looked at Bodil, sending him a questioning glance. I thought he was joking but he was really serious about it. The fake Seto stepped back, his back against the wall. "How did you know" He whispered. So it is true. He really is Evon. But by far what i've heard while secretly messaging Seto was that Evon 'died' I didn't know what he meant with that but now i see what he means. He faked his death back in Star City.

I looked back at Bodil, whose face was unreadable at the moment. He looked at the ground. His eyes turned soulless for a moment, seconds later they were alive again. And this time it flared with anger. "How could he?!" He stomped the ground. "Bodil, calm down!" Evon said, grabbing Bodil by the shoulders. Bodil pushed Evon off him. "How can i calm down?! Does he know how the other sorcerers felt?! We thought you were dead!" Evon took a step back. "I-it was part of the pla-" "What plan?!" Bodil raised his voice to the point of shouting. "What in his right mind would he plan to fake someone's death and make people mourn while there's a war raging?!" I was shocked. There was a war?! I looked at Evon, who looked defeated. "It was all part of the plan. His plan." He managed to say calmly, while Bodil was still raging. "WHY DID HE NEVER TELL US?!" Bodil pretty much shouted out loud. Evon sighed. "Otherwise you guys will be in the way." "IN THE WAY?!" Bodil started to cry a bit. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN IN THE WAY?! I thought he trusted us...But this shows he doesn't trust us at all, doesn't he?" Evon wanted to say something, but quickly shut his mouth. A silence overtook the situation.

Until i spoke up. "Guys, we have no time to cry. We gotta go, now!" All of them looked at me. "Ty's right. If there is a war outside, we need to stop it. Evon, can you teleport me, Ty and Bodil back to Star city. You will help Seto and the others." Evon nodded. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He started to chant some Ancient minecraft language. A blinding beam of light emerged from the ground, surrounding us. Just before we teleported i could see Evon mouthing 'good luck' to us.

We teleported in the castle. Ahh the old familiar sights. I felt around the walls. They were still the same. "It's still the old same castle." I smiled. This used to be Sky's previous base before he went to venture for new land. "Maybe here but not outside." Bodil said while staring outside the window. I walked over to him and looked out the window. Jason did the same. Bodil was right. Outside was a total different story.

We were too late.
