Chapter 13

Mitch's POV

He's gone. Taken. Taken away from me. It's all my fault. I collapsed on the floor crying. Tear drops fall on my knees. I balled i fist.

"Goddammit!" I shouted.

It's all my fault. I just knew it. If could've fought better. If i...

"Sir...Are you ok?" The nurse asked.

"No i'm not ok!" I stood up and grabbed my sword.

There was some stabbing noise. My eyes were closed. Dripping sounds were in the room. My hands were wet and sticky.

I slowly opened my eyes, regretting i actually did that. The nurse was in front of me. Her eyes wide open. A sword was stabbed through her chest. The worst of all...I was the one holding the sword.

I was shaking everywhere. I dropped the sword and heard a loud thud. Her body fell. I looked at my hands. They were covered in blood.

I just stood there. Staring at my shaking hands. Slowly i dropped to the ground. I started crying.

"I-i'm...I'm a murderer.." I whispered.

"What happened?" Someone said.

I froze. It was Tyler. He was coming. His footsteps echoed in the halls.

"Mi-" He stopped mid sentence. I looked at him with crying eyes.

"Mitch? What...happened?" He asked

"I'm a murderer." I said softly.

"What?"

I stood up and shouted:" I'M A MURDERER!"

Seto's POV

After investigating Baki's room i found a rope, a hidden knife and some odd books that he can't read because it's in ancient runes. Really strange he has these books.

One more thing i found in his room was a box. Not some ordinary box. My box. The box where memories of my past exists. Those memories came back in my head. There were some happy times, especially with Max. Also some dark times. Like the time i...almost killed him.

I shook the thought away and continued reading. Vienne was drawing in her sketch i gave her. She seems to love it. I took a peak of what she is making. I saw Bodil standing right beside me. Next comes Tyler. On the left of Bodil was Baki.

I smiled at that. She was drawing us. Well time to read more.

The books Baki has was about spells and magic. Could Max go in the library and read in Baki's room? No...

I closed my book and stood up. Vienne looked at me. Her eyes were asking something. Like "Where are you going?"

"I'm going somewhere. Stay here okay?" I told her. She nodded and went back to her drawing.

Let's hope the answers lies in this book Max has read.

Skye's POV

Me and Miju escaped the hospital and are back in the alley where we set our hideout. Miju was healing pretty quickly. She managed to walk without limping today. But she is still injured so i insisted her to stay while i steal some food.

The thing i like about alleys is that it's so dark and peaceful. Not a single person except me and Miju.

Miju was eating the crackers i stole from the market. I was just resting. People were chasing me in the market. But i escaped them. I was pretty tired if you ask me.

There was nothing else than the sound of Miju eating her crackers. It was so peaceful. So quiet. That you can hear footsteps on the roof.

Wait...

I opened my eyes. I'm pretty sure i heard footsteps on the roof. I looked up. But nothing has been seen.

Miju kept eating her crackers. But she seemed to notice something's bothering me.

"What's up?" She asks.

"I heard something. I'm gonna check." I said

I climbed onto the ladder that was leading to the abandoned apartment which is our hide out. From there there is another ladder that leads to the roof.

When i was finally up i saw no one to be seen. The wind was blowing in my hair like crazy. Only the wind is here. Nothing else.

I walked further into the rooftop. Maybe he/she is hiding somewhere. But as soon as i went further there was a sharp pain in the back of my head. And i fell into darkness....
