-A few months later-

Lucy travels to different towns and accepting works off of different cafes, for her meals and means of survival.

When she travels, she'd normally go by foot to strengthen her physical strength and stamina.

Lucy would usually encounter people in need and would wholeheartedly help.

She would often train in the forest by night, and ask for Capricorn's assistance.

She simply became strong and was able to contain her emotions and she learned to shut them off, if necessary.

Mornings is when she works on cafes till afternoon, and on spare time she reads books.

Afternoons is when she sleeps until evening.

Night time is when she her extreme training begins.

She learned to use the spirits combinations, increasing defense, increasing magic, and learned physical combats.

She'd occasionally send letters to Fairy Tail letting them know that she's okay.

-Meanwhile-

"Oi happy, Lucy! Let's go on a jo..." Natsu stopped, now fully aware of what he was about to say.

He was standing in front of the request board, inside the guild.

Everyone looked at him in worry but decided to turn a blind eye about it, since they know that the dragon slayer hated to be pitied.

'Being worried is an understatement.' Natsu thought, completely oblivious to the worried stared of his fellow guildmates.

"I'm just worried about her. That's all, right?" he questioned himself.

"Where'd ya think she'd be right now, Happy?" Natsu turned and asked the blue neko.

"She must be really far away... I really miss Lu-shee..." Happy answered, moping.

"So, this is what it feels to wait..." Natsu mumbled involuntarily.

"Eh? Did you say something, Natsu?" Happy asked.

Natsu snapped back to reality and shook his head, then crossed his arms.

"It's really isn't the same without her..." Natsu sighed.

Natsu remembers his daily routine, when Lucy's around.

He reminisced every memory he had with her.

He'd usually stay at Lucy's apartment.

Raid her snacks.

Play pranks on her.

Her face, hair, smile, tears, and laugh keeps filling his thoughts.

"Happy, how about we try finding her?" Natsu suggested.

"AYE!" The exceed cheered, but got depressed, slowly.

"Natsu, Lu-shee promised she'll be back. She'd be mad, if we followed her." Happy sulked.

Then, they both got depressed.

Day by day Natsu realizes that it's empty without her, and that each day that she's not there, that his feelings starting to grow for her.

He started to long for her.

But, he couldn't really point out, what this itch to find her really meant.

-At Natsu's home-

'I'm still not used to the fact that you're not here... Lucy...' Natsu thought silently.

He was looking all around his house for signs of Lucy.

Her maid outfit.

The salamander sign.

He held a paper where it says my first job with Lucy.

He was caressing it softly, and it broke his heart remembering how he left her.

"I ain't moping around here, just waiting for her to come back!" Natsu roared angrily.

"Natsu, you're too loud!" Happy protests, rubbing the sleep off of him.

"I'm going to find her!" Natsu declared, single-mindedly.

"Natsu, Lu-shee said that she needs to train. Let's give her some time." Happy frowned.

"How long do you think it would take for her to train, Happy?' Natsu asked, impatiently.

"I'm pretty sure it doesn't take two or three days, Natsu. It isn't a mission." Happy scoffed.

"Ahhh!!!! It isn't Team Natsu without her!!!" Natsu screamed in frustration.

"How could she?!" Natsu added in disappointment.

"You already gave her permission, Natsu!" Happy argued.

"I-I know..." Natsu stated softly, calming down.

Natsu sighed heavily then sulked.

"Alright. We'll give her time." Natsu says in dissatisfaction.

'Aye.' Happy responded, sadly.
