My alarm went off. It's was currently 9:26am. Lauren is suppose to pick me up at 10.
"Shit" I mumbled
I woke up late now I have to show up looking shitty. I checked the weather and it was going to be raining and warm. That's bipolar California weather for you.
I quickly got out of bed and ran to my bathroom I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face. I walked back to my room and changed into light denim jeans, black vans, black tanktop, and a grey hoodie. I curled my hair and then did my makeup which wasn't much but mascara, lipgloss, and my eyebrows.
I checked the time and it was now 9:50am. Wow I'm quick when I'm in a hurry lol. I took a mirror pick (at the top) and captioned it.

I quickly got likes and comments since people only knew me cause of Frankie.
I got a text message from Frankie.

I heard a honk outside I looked through my window and seen Lauren's car. I quickly but quietly ran downstairs without waking my mom up. As soon as I stepped outside it was pouring rain I put my hoodie on and ran into the car.
"Hey babes" Lauren said smiling
"Hey Lolo" I said smiling back
"So here how it's gonna go down. Simon doesn't really have much time today so all you're going to do today is sing a song you've written yourself. And then he'll decide wether he wants to sign you or not but you have to be truly committed" Lauren said
"I am truly committed to music in general but is he going to decide if he's going to sign me today?" I asked
"No not right away it's going to take him a few days to decide."
"Okay" I said nervously.
We drove over to a huge building. We ran into the building cause of all the rain. We took the elevator to the 6th floor and walked inside the studio.
"Hello I'm Simon, and you must be the one and only Isabella."
"That's me" I said smiling
"Great are you ready to sing for me" he asked politely
"Yes" I said and walked inside the booth where the microphone was at. I looked at Lauren and she gave me a thumbs up and mouthed "you got this" I just smiled.
*skip the song*
I walked out of the room and Simon said "you did amazing I'll contact you in a couple of days it was nice meeting you Isabella, you have a bright future ahead of you"
"It was nice meeting you as well and I'm glad" I said smiling and walked out with Lauren
"I think he wants to sign you" Lauren said
"I hope so" I said

"Mom just please eat something" I pleaded her
She hasn't ate much ever since Emily and my dad passed. This affected both of us but it hurt me to see her hurt.
"For me mom, I don't want to lose you to" I said crying
"Don't say that mija" she said hugging me tightly
"Will you eat now" I said wiping my tears away
"Yes" she said and started eating the soup.
"Thank you."
The doorbell rang, "I got it mom"
I walked over to the door and opened it, it was Steven.......
"Hey why did you leave me hanging yesterday. Not cool you could have at least called me to let me know." He said
"I know, I know I'm sorry I have a lot going on" I said
"It's fine."
"I thought I told you not to talk to him anymore" I heard Frankie say walking up to me
I quickly stepped outside with them and shut the door before my mom heard anything.
"Frankie he's just my friend" I said
"Yea a very very good friend" Steven said sarcastically and added a wink
"Just stay away from her alright" Frankie shouted at Steven
"You're scared of a little competition or are you just that insecure Frankie, think about it. Bye Bella" he said
I waved at him.
I looked over at Frankie.
"Stevens right Frankie you need to stop being so insecure. I only love one guy and that's you" I said
"Whatever" Frankie said annoyed and walked to his house
