Through the dark ⚀ Liam Dunbar

Liam and I were walking through the halls at school but Liam wasn't acting himself. He kept stuttering and breathing heavily. I see Mason walking up to us.

"Hey Mase" I said smiling.

"Hey!" He said. "Liam! I'm I going to see you guys at the bonfire?" I forgot that was tonight.

"Umm.." Liam wasn't looking at us he was just looking at the floor.

"I don't know about that." I told him.

"You not missing out." He said.

"Why not?"

"Because you are in the lacrosse team." He said pointing at Liam. "Don't you have to go?"

"Uh- I don't think..." He stuttered. "I don't think I can make it."

"You're coming." Mason said. "And you're bringing Maya so you can embarrass yourself in front of her." I start chucking a bit. "And you'll find me a lacrosse player. Because statistically speaking, someone on your team, has got to be on my team." I smile. "Alright Liam?"

He looks behind us and looks down again. "Okay. We'll be there." He then leaves not looking at us.

"Is he okay?" He asks.

"Um I don't know, to be honest."

"I'll see you later." He says leaving.

I've been in my math class for less than 10 minutes and I've been bored already. I yawn and just start doodling in my notebook.

"Can I be excused?" I ask everyone looked at me. My teacher just gives me a look and I grab my stuff and leave. I walk near the stairs and sit down. I was daydreaming when I hear someone walking near.

"Maya, what are you doing here?" I see Liam looking around.

"I just had to get out of class. I have some things on my mind." Liam comes up and sits next to me.

"Are you okay? You've been acting different since this morning" he just shakes his head when I see Scott coming.

"Hey. What are you guys doing?" We look at each other and don't say anything until Liam speaks up.

"Something happened last night." He said.

"What happened?"

"My printer went off by itself. I couldn't stop it. I tried hitting the cancel button, it stopped when I unplugged it. It just kept printing a bunch of stuff."

"Printing what?" Scott asks him. He was taking out a paper before we hear coach yell.

"What the hell is this?!" We run to his office and see papers everywhere.
Scott picks up a paper and he looks at Liam's. It was the dead pool.

"You see the difference?" Liam tells him.

"Derek's not on the list anymore" he whispers.

"And I'm not worth 3 million" he said. "It's 18 now. 18 million dollars"

I go home to get ready for the bonfire. I remember I was home alone because my uncle was working and Stiles was with Lydia so they can try to talk to Brunski at Eichen House. I took a quick shower and brushed my hair. I walked into my room and grabbed a crochet crop top, and black high waisted jeans. I went back to the restroom and did my eyeliner and mascara. I decided not to cover my burn since it was barely noticeable.

I grab my phone from the charger and my sandals and go downstairs. I grab something to eat since I know there will be just alcohol there. I make a sandwich and turn on my tv. I hear a knock at my door and take my last bite. I go to the door and see Liam standing there.
