Chapter 1: the job

Irenea's PoV

My cousin Janna let me stay in her apartment in exchange of a deal that we both pay the rent monthly kapag nakakuha na ako ng job.

"Janna may alam ka bang malapit na coffee shop dito?"

"ah yeah just keep walking to the right and you'll find a coffee shop, Winter's cafe ang pangalan"

"okay bibili lang ako sandali may ipapabili ka bang food, or coffee?"

"no I'm okay ingat ka okay?"

"yeah bye!"

*WINTER'S cafe*

the place is great ang ganda ng ambiance so relaxing pagpasok mo pa lang maaamoy mo na yung sweet aroma ng coffee.

"oops!! sorry my bad" and the moment I saw his face my jaw literally dropped... He's like a Greek God *o*

"oh it's okay sweety hindi din naman ako tumitingin sa dinadaanan ko. I'm Maxwell Lorenzo by the way Max for short" he smiled "and you are?"

"uhm I-Irenea N-Navoa"

"nice to meet you" smiles "As much as i want to talk to you I need to get going see you around!"

Maxwell's PoV

"what are you smiling at? you look like a total idiot psh wala ka bang importanteng gagawin?" dom said with an irritated look on his face haha he's always the grumpy one. I'm at his office right now chillin' looks like katatapos lang ng meeting niya and he looked pissed I tell you.

"nothing I just met this girl from a coffee shop and wala akong gagawin no actually meron though everything's under control" I smiled remembering what had happened earlier that day. "you know dude this girl that I saw in the coffee shop she's a perfect 10"

"let me guess you want to add her to your collections?" he asked

"nah dude she's different" I smiled

Irenea Navoa who are you?

Dominic's PoV

"wait dude where's your secretary she's hot you know" max asked

"I fired her" I simply said

"why dude? di pa nga ako nakaka score sa kanya eh. what's her name again? Jenna, Jenny, Jessica right Jessica" he said " wait why did you fired her? don't tell me may ginawa siya? ano? tell me dali! Did she seduce you or undress infront of you?"he childishly said without even breathing

I just shook my head hindi na talaga nag bago ang kaibigan niya sometimes he's so serious then suddenly becomes childish. "May ginawa ba siyang mali?" max seriously added.

"yeah you know me I don't like my employees na babagal-bagal" I said in a matter of fact

he fired his secretary because the report that she made has so many errors. everyone knows me as a strict and perfectionist person but when it comes to my family I'm different.

*knock *knock

the door opened "sir pinapatawag niyo daw po ako?" she said

"yes Ms. Velasco I want you to find me a new secretary and make sure that she is good I don't want another failure" i said sounding so bored

"yes sir" she said and went out.

"dude I have to go too have meeting" he said and stormed out of the office.

Irenea's

this is my fourth day here in manila and until now wala pa din akong nahahanap na trabaho. I sighed papunta ako ngayon sa Silvano Empire my cousin's working here and she texted me that may open daw na job sa pinagtatrabahuhan niya. I just hope na matanggap na ako dito.

"hi I'm Irenea Navoa I'm here to apply for a job" I nicely said to the receptionist

"okay just go to the second floor at the left side there you'll find Ms. Velasco's office" she said

"okay thanks" I smiled before going.

This is it. Nasa loob na ako ng office ni Ms.Velasco and she is currently interviewing me right now.

"okay ms. Navoa your records are good and you are qualified for this job though I have to warn you that our boss Ms. Silvano is strict and perfectionist. He dosen't like mistakes and ayaw din niya ng late he is very strict when it comes to time. so I'm asking you right now kung kaya mo ba ang trabahong to because ayaw na ayaw ni sir mali. one mistake that he didn't like and you're out"she said

"yes ma'am kaya ko po" I said with a sweet smile drawn in my face

"okay tanggap ka na, you can start tomorrow 8:30 dumarating si sir so dapat 8 pa lang nandito ka na puntahan mo ako dito bukas first thing in the morning so I can assist you sa mga dapat mong gawin bukas you may go"

"okay po thank you po ma'am" I said and went outside.

Yes! I have a job!
