Chapter Twenty Five

They all got in the car!
The policeman drove, Chase was sitting in the passenger's seat and Anoshinie, Lilly and Aman in the back.

Lilly rested her head on Aman's shoulder and Anoshinie held her hand.

The policeman asked: Ma'am I hope you're not tired because we need to take you to a few places.

Lilly: like what?

Police: first, the hospital. We need to make sure you're okay. Then the police department for some questions. You know? This man is one of the most dangerous men here. He doesn't even work for the taxi company. He probably stole the taxi.

Lilly: oh God.

Aman's POV
We arrived at the hospital and Lilly went through some check ups. Everything seemed to be okay yet she lacked water and food. He didn't feed her anything.
The hospital got her a plate full of carbs and veggies for her to eat and a bottle of water.

I saw Lilly eating and my heart was just melting....
I watched her eat and I smiled.
I slowly brushed the hair out of her face and kissed the side of her forehead, slowly going down to kiss her cheek.

She stopped eating and turned to face me. Before saying anything, she placed her head on my shoulder and asked "how did you know?"

Aman: i called you a billion times and your phone was turned off. Anoshinie couldn't find you. Your parents still didn't know by the way! We called everyone but nothing....

Lilly: he took my phone away.

Aman: no he didn't.

He took the phone out of his pocket and gave it to her.

Lilly: Oh my God (she smiled then kissed his cheek)

Aman's POV:
After she ate and did all the check ups needed, the police drove Anoshinie and chase home and took us to a hotel.

I kept holding Lilly's hand. We were surprised at why they took us to a hotel.

The policeman checked us in and turned to say: spend the night here tonight. My colleague and I will ask you a couple of questions and we'll meet you back in the lobby tomorrow morning.

Lilly and I sat down and they asked what seemed like 1000 questions.

Lilly told them the story: I hopped in the taxi and gave him the address. He drove to a very unfamiliar street and asked to call someone from my phone cause his phone was dead. That's when he took my phone away. We arrived at the street you found me in. He put a tape around my mouth and tied my hands. I don't know why he did that! I don't know him.

The policeman told us that he is a very dangerous man and that Lilly is so lucky he didn't do anything bad to her.

He asked more questions and wished us a good night.

Before the policeman left, Lilly walked towards him: Sir? Please do not let my parents know. They will go crazy.

Policeman: I won't Ms. Singh.

She smiled and walked back to me and held my hand.

Lilly's POV:
We went to our room and I sat on the bed.

Aman: Do you wanna change your clothes?

I nodded

I quietly took my pjs out of my bag, showered and went to change.

I saw Aman standing up, looking through the window with his hands in his pocket. I went behind him and wrapped my hands around his chest.
He held my hands that were infront of him

Lilly: I don't know what to say....
You flew all the way from London just to help me?

He turned to face me. He held my face with his two hands and looked me in the eyes.

Aman: I'd do ANYTHING. ANYTHING. To keep you safe. You know how hard it was for me to call you and get no answer. Or when I called Anoshinie and she said that you were not home. I was so close to having a heart attack and die. I need you to stop getting surprised when I fly from London for you because you mean the world to me.

He kept looking at me with his hands still around my face.

I got closer and pressed my lips against his. Our lips moved together and our kiss got more passionate.

I pulled away but he kissed me again and I didn't protest.

After we pulled away. I rested my forehead against his and kissed him quickly

"I love you is not enough"

He smiled and said "its not enough indeed. I love you more than words can ever say"

They went to bed.

Aman pulled Lilly super close to him. She was facing his chest and his head rested on the top of hers.

It took them 2 minutes to fall asleep.
