Amilly Story: After Math

Chapter Twenty Six

Aman's POV: 

Lilly woke up a couple of times during the night panicking and screaming " LEAVE ME ALONE. LEAVE ME ALONE" 

I woke up every time she did and I calmed her down and put her to sleep again. 

She said that she kept dreaming of the guy who kidnapped her but I told her that he won't get near her. 

At around 3pm the next day, The room's hotel rang and I heard Lilly saying "Aman answer the phone" She was next to me still sleeping.  So I got up and answered. 

After hanging up, I woke Lilly up and told her that the policemen are downstairs waiting for us. 

We got dressed and went to the lobby to meet them. 

Lilly's hand was glued to mine. I kept rubbing it with my thumb to make her feel better. 

We sat down and they talked to us.

Officer: Okay Miss Singh, I hope you slept well. We spent all night looking through your case. 

You are one lucky lady, that man as we said yesterday is very dangerous and he could've done much worse things but luckily he didn't. He will be in jail for a really long while so don't worry. 

uhh what else? Your blood results came in. You need to catch up on food and water since he didn't supply you with any food when he kept you at the house..... 

Any questions? 

Lilly: Did he say why he choose to kidnap me? 

Officer: Well his main goal was to keep you as a hostage. 

Lilly gasped: oh

Officer: You are safe now Miss Lilly. We will send you a tracking device for you to keep with you at all times for 2 to 3 months. This is just so we can know where you are and make sure you're safe. 

Lilly nodded. 

Officer: That would be it. Thank you for your time and I assure you that we got everything under control.

Lilly: Thank you sir. 

He smiled. 

Lilly and Aman got up to walk with the officer to the door. 

Aman: thank you again Sir. 

Aman turned to face Lilly: Lunch? 

Lilly: YES. IM STARVING.
