Chapter 5

" Have you heard?" whispered someone behind Izzie " She got knocked up". Izzie felt tears sting in her eyes as she ran to the bathroom . Izzie sat down on the floor of the toilet and listened to the conversations that were happening " What a slut, who gets knocked up in high school, slutty izzie ofcourse" sighed a voice. " Guys it's not her choice that she's pregnant, and being pregnant doesn't make her a slut" sighed the other voice " Jeez, Mandy" responded a girl. Izzie opened the door of her toilet stall and walked straight to the sink, ignoring the nervous expressions on the three girls faces.

Meredith and Cristina sat at the table in the cafeteria where they always sit, Cristina wove her arm in the air and George and Izzie joined her. " Iz, we're all here for you okay?" Sighed Cristina, George & Meredith nodded agreeing " Thanks guys" smiled Izzie thankfully while taking a bite out of her sandwich. " Have you guys studied well for the exam math?" asked George as an attempt of making it less awkward for Izzie. " I am going to ace it" stated Cristina, while Meredith shifted uncomfortable and Izzie nodded slightly. " My mom hired a tutor for math so i'm probably going to get a high grade" smiled George proud " Not as high as mine tho" smiled Cristina.

Derek's hand brushed against Meredith's when they walked across each other in the hallway, Meredith blushed slightly while Derek smiled. " What was that all about?" asked Cristina curious, " Nothing" responded Meredith dryly while they entered anatomy class. " Morning Class" smiled Mister Webber, " Morning Mister Webber" said the whole class. " Okay we are going to talk about the basic human anatomy, anyone eager to name some of them in front of the class?" asked Mister Webber, his eyes resting on Meredith. " As no one is volunteering, i'll pick some one from the list" smiled Mister Webber, Webber checked the list briefly and the  his eyes rested on Meredith again " Meredith you come up here and point out all of the organs on the pictures, if you point out all of them you get a chocolate bar" smiled Mister Webber. Meredith stood up annoyed and walked to the front of the class, catching an encouraging smile from Derek.  " There we have the heart, the aorta is right there, we have the intestins, and the bladder, the kidney..." Meredith went on until she had named all of them, the whole class stared at her either amused or shocked. " Exactly" muttered Mister Webber while searching for the chocolate bar in his bag. " Here you go, good job Meredith" smiled Mister Webber while handing Meredith her the chocolate bar " Thanks" she responded dryly while walking back to her seat. " I want the rest of you to memorize them for a test tomorrow" stated Mister Webber, everyone groaned annoyed.

Meredith dropped her bag in the hall, and proceeded to the kitchen. A note lay on the counter  ' Meredith, i'm at work i won't be there for dinner, i put some money with this note so you can make something, don't wait up for me i'll be late. Ellis'  Meredith pushed the note away angry.  She pushed the money in her wallet and called Cristina " I am home alone, i have money for pizza and a shit load of horror movies want to come over?" Meredith said " Already on my way" responded Cristina before hanging up. After 10 minutes the front door bell rang and Cristina entered " I brought tequila" smirked Cristina while pulling a bottle out of her bag. " Yes girl!" shrieked Meredith, both of them ordered a pizza and they watched unfriended together. " This movie is weird, that looks so fake" muttered Meredith while grabbing a second pizza slice, " That guy with his hand in the blender , that was twisted" stated Cristina. "How are non of their parents home tho?" asked Meredith " Coincidence" chuckled Cristina. " My mom said i could sleep over btw" stated Cristina when the movie ended " Don't we have school tomorow?" asked Meredith " It's friday dumbo" chuckled Cristina while pouring Meredith a shot glass full with tequila. " Ahh my mom will probably get home around 1 so the glasses should be cleaned, and we should get to bed then and chill there, she won't check on me anyway" stated Meredith half smiling. " What time is it anyway?" asked Cristina, " It's -oh fuck 12:30 am" muttered Meredith, Meredith stood up and grabbed the glasses, she quickly cleaned them and ran up the stairs.
