He does not have a crush on me. He's flipping Jullian Sanders! How is he gay if he is always, you know, getting it with girls? Isn't he at the top of the food chain with Todd and their little fan girls following them around all the time? And why the heck, me?!
His best friend bully's me all of the time and does nothing about it! I'm not saying that I hate gays or anything. I don't have a problem with who anyone loves, especially since it's not my problem or business. I just don't roll that way and I'm sure of it. Believe me.
But I'm nothing special. I don't have any charming features, I don't have a drool worthy appearance, no stop and stare callings. This is bullshit. Even if he did what would Todd think? Does Todd know that he's gay? You would think that he would since they are best friends, but that is usually a big secret and he probably hasn't told him. How can I even know if he's gay?! I don't know and I don't care.
I look over at Talulah again since I was kind of in my confusing daze. "What do you mean by "he has a crush on me"?" I ask her carefully and wide eyed. "I mean he never acts like that in front of anyone, and I mean never. Plus he was looking at you like he was going to take you right then and there." Huh. So she saw the looks to? Wait. We were in a 'not so easy' place to see in the gym. Was she watching or something? "Wait how did you know that?" I ask her. She blushes a little. Oh. My. Gawd. Did I do that? "I saw you. Anyways, I already had a feeling that he was gay. Whenever we were at family reunions and Jullian and his family would be there, he was always checking out our cousins. Which was the guys group."
She really is something. Nothing that would like you, remember that. I sigh and look towards the ceiling. "Do you maybe, like him back? Or anything? I just mean, it's cool if you are and whatever. I just want to make sure for... personal reasons." She sounded a bit hesitant and when I look down at her, she was biting her lip nervously watching me with narrowed eyes.
"No I don't like him back. One, because he's my bully's best friend. Two, because he's a guy and I'm not into guys like that. At all. Third, just- just no." I answer then start walking down the sidewalk since gym is the last class of the day. Thank God for that.
I soon realize that she has caught up with me and has pulled out her headphones. I look at her with an extremely confused stare when she glances back up at me. "What?"
"Why are you walking with me?" I ask her. She raises her eyebrows. "Well, do you not want me to?" "Well no, that's not what I mean. I just don't know why- I mean if you, wait that's not what I mea-" I was cut off by the sound of Talulah chuckling. I awkwardly puff out my cheeks and keep walking. "Wait! I'm sorry! Hold on, it was just really cute." She admits while running after me.
"Excuse me? Did you just call me cute?" I ask accusingly and offended. Why does she not care that people can see us together. Isn't she embarrassed? I'm embarrassed to be seen with me. That doesn't make sense but I don't care.
She looks up at me and smiles trying to look innocent. Which is quite funny considering she is dressed anything but innocent in her thigh high socks and big T-shirt that some how is long enough to look like a dress. But she pulls it off perfectly. She can pull anything off perfectly.
Not like that you pervs.
"So, uh I was wondering if maybe you would show me around after school. I haven't been here long but it seems pretty cool. But I thought that if you wanted to, you could show me around? Like all of the best places and stuff." She mentioned rocking back and forth on her feet.
I looked at her confused which I seem to be doing a lot lately. "Why don't you have one of your friends do it? Or Todd?"
"Todd is a meathead and what? You don't want to be my friend?" She teases. "What? And you're willing to be my friend?" I asked seriously just tried to make it look like I was teasing her back.
