They think they're saints

Holy and mighty

Fearless and brave

But I know the truth

They're cowards and fearful

Full of hatred and jealousy

Some cherish them while the other despise

But with my gift of reading minds I know the truth

The thing they want most

They will never get

The thing they yearn for will never be theirs

They wish upon wish that they could reach out with their pale, flaky skin

And grab my fragile daughter and study her from hem to hem

But I will protect her and my family

They're all I've got and our love will last forever.

***THE VOLTOURI***

I was sick and very ill

My mother and father had already perished

In good will

My heartbeat got slower

And my hearing more faint

My mouth was dry from all my screaming

I grasped at any hope or light

I grasped on to the speck of life I had

The doctor was now a blur

And my eyes began to tear

This was the end

No true love

No happiness

No family

No life

My life was slipping

And there was nothing I could do

I was helpless

Until Dr.Carlisle knew what to do.

***EDWARD IN HOSPITAL RIGHT BEFORE DEATH***
