I look over my outfit in my antique mirror before I go out the door. Blue jeans, black shirt, Chuck Taylor's, and a leather jacket. Long skirts and dresses were never really my thing.

I touch up my hair with some hairspray then I grab my little red clutch purse and head outside. Charlie is always late so I don't know why I expected him to be here already.

A horn honks and I look over with a large smile on my face as Charlie pulls up in his Chevelle. It really is a gorgeous car and man, I have no idea how he can afford it.

"Hey babe!" Charlie yells and leans out his window, looking over the roof of his car ecstatically. God he's got a beautiful smile.

I run to his car eagerly and hop in. Tonight should be a lot of fun. The Curtis boys are real nice as well as Steve, Two-Bit, Johnny, and Dally. Well Dally had his nice moments every now and then...

I buckle my seat belt but not before leaning over to give Charlie a quick kiss.

"So do you think we're gonna have to sneak into the Nightly Double? You and Dally have reputations to keep," I ask teasingly.

"You know I don't care for reputations. Dallas on the other hand, that guy's got quite the ego about his criminal status." The first sentence he said jokingly but he got oddly angry at the end which made me shift uncomfortably.

"I think Dally does have his bad moments but he's an alright guy," I say and look out the window.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

After that I just kind of allow an uncomfortable silence to spread throughout the car. It stayed that way until we reach the Curtis house.

We can already hear hollering from out here which makes me laugh.

"C'mon!" I say and run to the door.

When I open it I see Ponyboy and Sodapop wrestling on the ground, Two-Bit, Dally, and Johnny playing an intense game of poker, Steve raiding the fridge for food, and Darry must've been doing something upstairs because I didn't see him.

"Y/N!" Two-Bit yelps and throws down his cards excitedly.

"Hey Two!" I laugh then sit on the couch waiting for Charlie.

"Where the hell's Charlie at?" Steve asks and peeks his head out from the fridge.

"He's just being a snail," I lean back in my seat and smile as Soda and Pony sit down next to me.

"Y/N, how do you manage to get more beautiful every time we see you?" Soda asks and jokingly gazes at me.

I slap his shoulder playfully. "Oh you flirt, knock it off!"

"Look who's finally here!" Soda says as Charlie walks through the door.

Charlie looks at me and I smile widely. Over his shoulder I spot Dally. I expected his normal hateful expression mainly because thats his expression towards everything but there was a sad puppy dog look in his eyes. Dally and I make eye contact for a moment and I felt a warmness flood throughout me. Like a spark. Like butterflies in my stomach... I've felt this way before. When I first met Charlie. Hold on, I can't possibly feel an attraction towards Dallas Winston, can I? No that's impossible, I'm in love with Charlie... right?

Once Dally and I made eye contact, his normal expression appeared on his face. Nothing but cold, hard hatred in his eyes. And when that happened I didn't feel the warmness any more...

I avert my attention back to the room.

"So we gonna leave or what?"
