Mixtape: OH - Hyunjin

Hyunjin was practicing in the dance studio when you arrived, your hands holding bags with Chinese takeout. You knew him too well to know that he wouldn't have had dinner, so you wanted to surprise your boyfriend.

Ever since his hiatus, Hyunjin has been working very hard to catch up on all the new songs and dances. He usually forgets to take care of himself while he's busy.

He still hasn't noticed you coming in, completely focused on his dance steps. You lean against the doorframe, quietly watching and admiring him. As he turns around, he sees you and jumps.

"God, Y/N! You scared me!" He chuckles. " What are you doing here so late?"

You watch him panting, his face looks exhausted and his hair slightly ruffled and messy. He looks very cute and hot like this. You smile at him and say, "I got us food. I know you haven't been eating well lately. Channie Oppa told me to take care of you so here I am." You walk to the centre of the dance hall and set down the food, getting ready to eat. Hyunjin flops down opposite to you on the floor.

"Ah, Channie Hyung is being a menace these days. He's become too clingy and always asks me if I'm okay." He laughs and that small laugh warms your heart. You smile and say, "Stop! He's only looking out for you." You open your box and the fast food smell fills the room. You take a big bite and savour it. "Wow, this is sooooo good!"

Hyunjin looks at your big eyes and your full mouth face and chuckles. It's been pretty long since you both spent some good quality time together. This is just what you both needed. You both eat up in silence, giggling and chatting about random things.

"Hey Y/N? Thank you for this. I needed this boost today. Today was really hard." Hyunjin says, looking at you. You reach out to him and pull him in for a soft kiss. "Don't forget! I'll always be here for you." You say as you brush your hand on his cheek. He leans into your touch and closes his eyes briefly, savouring the moment.

Hyunjin suddenly gets up and reaches his arm out to you. "Dance with me?" You first shake your head, because you're not really a fan of dancing. You always felt insecure about it. But who could say no to Hyunjin? To this man, who looks like he's been yearning for this his whole life? You hesitantly take his hand and get up on your feet.

He suddenly grabs your arm and pulls you closer to him, your chests close to each other as you sway in peaceful silence. His hands settle on your waist, and you feel the warmth radiating through your clothes. Suddenly, you feel yourself swaying offbeat and slower than Hyunjin and laughter bubbles in you.

"I'm so sorry. Told you I can't dance." You laugh. Hyunjin laughs too and both your laughter fills the room. "You're right. You're terrible at this." He says and laughs, teasing you and spinning you clumsily. You stumble into his chest, hands fisting in his sweat filled shirt. "Don't be so full of yourself, Mr. Hwang" you say playfully.

Hyunjin's breath hitched as you look up at him, your noses almost brushing. Neither of you moved as his thumb brushed your cheek. "I missed you." He whispered. You nod, agreeing to his confession. Things started to heat up as the room suddenly filled with the new Stray Kids song "Mixtape: OH". The timing was just too perfect... You pull him in for a deep kiss as things moved on to something more. As your clothes fell on the floor, the song continues playing in the background...
