Sorry this is so short.
The camp felt strangely quiet without Ally there.
Sure, Chiron was still busy with all the other campers. There were still kids to teach, demigods to find, new campers to train. But it felt weird without Ally there to help. She'd been there for a little over seven years now.
Lena had been acting a little weird lately. Closed off. She was spending a lot more time in the strawberry fields. This wasn't necessarily odd for her, but still. It still stuck out to Chiron.
Moving on, Nico had been visiting camp a lot less recently. Without Thunder or the newfound Hades girl - what was her name? - there, Chiron supposed he didn't have a reason to.
Will also hadn't visited, but Chiron supposed that was to be expected, since Nico hadn't come.
Delilah had been distraught ever since Thunder left, crying and refusing to leave the Zeus cabin until her and Rachel left. That was odd, considering the four-year-old was mostly a calm child. But Chiron let Rachel deal with her own child.
Annabeth and Percy hadn't been to camp since Ally's seventh birthday. They were too busy building their lives in New Rome, which they had every right to do, after everything they'd been through.
Hazel and Frank had long retired as praetors, also building a life in New Rome.
Thalia and Reyna had both retired from the Hunters of Artemis after - finally - realizing they had feelings for each other and their little flirting game wasn't all playful. Reyna hadn't wanted to live in New Rome again, so the two had moved to another state to start their lives together. Chiron wasn't entirely sure which one.
Clarisse and Chris had moved to another city in New York to live together, since they wanted to be near camp but not too close.
Grover had married Juniper and they now lived in some part of the forest near camp, although Chiron could never keep track of where they were.
Leo and Calypso had settled down in the way station, taking care of Jo, Hemithea, and Georgina.
Shel and Piper are still living together in Oklahoma with Piper's dad.
Camp had been a little more empty once Percy Jackson's generation left to live their own lives. But of course, there's always the next generation to keep Chiron busy.
