I'm sick of doing disclaimers. My characters are mine, Rick Riordan's characters are his. There.
Hayley had one night to sleep in the Hades cabin before the quest. She didn't like it.
The beds were shaped like coffins, which freaked her out. Plus, she hasn't slept on an actual bed in years, since...
Anyways, Hayley slept on the floor that night. She was used to sleeping on the cold, hard ground anyway. It wasn't that bad, since it was an enclosed space and it's not like anyone would wake her up in the middle of the night here.
When Hayley woke up, the sun was streaming in through the one window in the cabin. She sits up, rolling her head from side to side. The floor was more comfortable than the dirty concrete she used to sleep on. That didn't mean it was good.
She stands up, walking around the cabin. She looked in the bathroom, around the one room with tons of beds in it. Each bed had a set of drawers beside it. She looked through each, trying to find if there were any abandoned items she could take. None of these beds had been used in a while, since the sheets were neat and dusty.
After a few moments, she notices a door she hasn't opened yet. She looked around, making sure nobody was in the cabin again. Then she walks over to the door and opens it.
She didn't see a light switch on the walls, but there was another window in here, so she could see. Mostly. This is another bedroom, with another bed in the far corner, a dresser against the wall nearest to her. The sheets were messy, and some of the drawers in the dresser were open slightly.
She steps into the room, looking around. But when she heard some shuffling, she froze, trying to figure out where it came from. It came from the bed.
When she sees a boy sit up from the bed, she immediately turns and runs out of the room, shutting the door behind her. She runs out of the cabin, praying the boy didn't see her. She didn't know who he was, or if he was safe.
Hayley wanders around camp for a moment, not knowing where she was supposed to be. After around 10 minutes, Ally jogs up to her, smiling. She's wearing her Camp Half-Blood shirt, denim shorts, and her hair is up in a ponytail again.
Hayley looks Ally up and down as she approaches. The girl is tan, probably from spending days in the sun. Her lips are two different colors, the top lip darker than the bottom. She has a scar on the left side of her bottom lip. Well, it's still healing, not technically scarred yet. Hayley still feels bad for giving that to her.
Ally finally reaches Hayley, still smiling. "There you are! We've got to get to breakfast. We leave today."
Hayley doesn't speak, not sure what to say. She just raises her eyebrows, the rest of her expression apathetic.
Ally waits for a few moments, before shrugging. She turns, starting to walk away from Hayley, motioning for the daughter of Hades to follow her.
Follow her, she did.
After a few moments, the two girls reach a large building. Its walls are just pillars, with a solid roof over the top. There are lots of tables, with kids sitting at most of them. Ally walks over to a table, where most of the kids were either blonde or brunette, and sits down. Hayley looks around for a moment, before following the daughter of Athena and sitting down next to her.
One of the kids, a boy around 17, looks at Hayley in disgust. "You can't be here. You have to sit with your cabin."
"Shut up, Joshuah," Ally interjects before Hayley can react. "Nico sits at the Apollo table all the time. She's fine."
