*LUKE'S POV*
"Good" I said firmly as I got closer to her face.
There was just air between our lips. I knew the others were watching us but I didn't care, this was my opportunity to do something. If she didn't like me she would move her head or pull away. I looked at her eyes and then her lips. My lips met hers. Her lips were soft and fit perfectly with mine. I was kissing her, I was kissing her for the first time. Our lips moved in sync. We kissed for a minute. I pulled back and looked at her. I smiled and got up. Once I was standing up, I reached my hand out to her, she accepted it and I pulled her up. My brothers, their girlfriend, Daniel and Jocelyn, James and Amy, Rachel, Ali, Jessica, Dira and Maddy looked at me.
*NIKKI'S POV*
Luke fucking Brooks, MY BEST FRIEND FROM ALL MY LIFE, JUST KISSED ME. Once we were standing he turned to face me and he held my face with both his hands and I held onto his waist.
"You didn't pull back when I kissed you" he looked into my eyes.
"I couldn't pull back" I looked at him, his face was so close to mine, I wanted to kiss him again.
"Did you want to pull back?" he asked me softly, his voice sounded so innocent.
"No" I shook my head and he smiled. I smiled back at him. I leaned forward and kissed him softly, he kissed back. I pulled away and grabbed his hand, I walked us toward the ocean.
"Wait, hold on, I'll be right back" he stopped.
"Why, what happened?" I looked at him confused.
"Don't worry, I just forgot my camera in the car. The ocean looks beautiful and I want to take pictures, I'll be right back, I promise" he kissed my knuckles and then let go of my hands and started walking to the car.
*LUKE'S POV*
I walked toward the car to get my camera. The beach looked beautiful, I wanted to take pictures. I reached the car. I looked in my bag where I kept it and it wasn't there.
"Where the fuck is my fucking camera..." I mumbled as I threw things out of the car and moved things around in the car.
"I think I'v seen that ass way too much growing up" I heard Jai's voice call.
"Don't be a dickhead and help me look for my camera" I kicked my leg back attempting to kick him.
"You mean this camera?" Jai lifted the camera that was around his neck.
"Give me my camera" I took it from him "let's go back."
*NIKKI'S POV*
While I waited for Luke to come back, I was walking on some rocks by the water. I looked up and saw Sabrina walking toward me.
"Hey" I smiled at her, she was Jai's girlfriend.
"Hey! Jai went to go see what Luke was going to get from the car, so I decided to come here with you" she responded.
"Oh he went to get his camera cause he wanted to take pictures" I stated and walked along the rocks.
"Well Jai has his camera" she laughed.
"I think he'll figure that out" I said as I hopped onto another rock but I fell. My leg got caught in between two rocks. I screamed out in pain, my ankle was underneath a rock. The space between both rocks was small, and my leg was stuck. My back rested against the rock, my knee was bent and I tried to pull my leg out but wasn't able to.
"FUCKKKKKKK" I yelled out in pain, Sabrina didn't know what to do, "GO GET LUKE AND JAI"
Beau, James and Daniel saw me and reached out for their phone.
"CALL AN AMBULANCE" skip, Jocelyn and Amy said to Beau at the same time. James handed Beau his phone.
"NIKKI" I heard a familiar voice scream. Luke.
"Luke" I responded. My leg and my ankle was in so much pain, what if I took a nap? I mean I'll just close my eyes so the pain goes away a little, nothing bad could happen.
*LUKE'S POV*
I handed my camera to Jai and ran to help Nikki.
"Nikki look at me, just open your eyes. The ambulance is on its way, you're going to the hospital" I said worries and panicking while looked at her leg.
"I'm just closing my eyes, to ease the pain, just a little nap" She responded softly, her eyes still closed.
"Nicole, just promise me you'll wake up" I said worriedly.
"I promise" she responded.
"JAI, BEAU, SKIP AND JAMES" I screamed their names, "COME HELP ME GET HER LEG OUT. WE HAVE TO MOVE THE ROCKS TO GET HER LEG FREE."
They nodded and came to help me. I lifted Nikki's body.
"Jocelyn, Amy, I need you to hold her body while I get her leg" I told them and they nodded, grabbing her body. They all slowly and carefully lifted the rock that was on Nikki's ankle a couple inches, enough for me to get her foot out. I lifted her body up, the ambulance came.
"Only 2 people maximum can go in the vehicle, who will it be?" we all looked at each other, I wanted to go with her, I had to.
"Luke will go," James said and he nodded.
"Yeah, he'll go. We'll be at the hospital, we'll meet you there" Skip added.
I got into the ambulance and went with them.
*ONE HOUR AND A HALF LATER*
"I'm going to stay here with her. She broke her ankle, doctor said she's still sleeping. Someone needs to be here when she wakes up, I'm not gonna leave her alone, plus you guys need some rest" I told the guys.
"Beau and I will stay a little longer with you Luke, we're your brothers" Jai responded and he told Sabrina to go home with Deanna.
"Text us when she wakes up, bye" skip said and walked off with Jocelyn, she gave me a hug and left.
"yeah mate, text me when she wakes up" James patted my back and left with Amy.
*NIKKI'S POV*
I woke up at the hospital, I look over to the chair next to my hospital bed was Luke. I tried to get up but I couldn't.
"Don't get up Nikki, you broke your ankle" Luke told me as he stood up and walked toward me.
"Luke, how long have you been there?" I asked.
"Well I've been with you since the ambulance arrived, that was two hours ago" he responded.
"You didn't have to stay" I touched his hand that was next to mine.
"Yes I did" he smiled "doctor said you broke your ankle, you can go home tomorrow but you'll have to use crutches"
"Where's the others?" I looked at him.
"James and Daniel left an hour ago, Jai and Beau left 15 minutes ago" he answered.
His face was near mine. He leaned in, his lips brushed against mine. Our lips connected. He grabbed my face and then pulled away.
"You need to get some rest" he told me.
"Okay Luke" I responded and he kissed my forehead.
He sat down on the chair next to my bed. I closed my eyes and drifted off.
