*YOUNG NIKKI'S POV*

"HI GUYS! IM HERE" I happily told my 5 best friends.

"NIKKI!!!" they all exclaimed and tackled me with hugs.

I had just turned 7 and my mom promised to take me to visit them. I had the greatest friends in the world! Luke and Jai were twins and they looked IDENTICAL! I told them apart because Luke had an adorable freckle on his nose between his eyes and Jai had a freckle under his eye. Beau was their older brother, he was 2 years older than them. James and Daniel weren't siblings of any of us but they were like brothers to us, they were like my older brothers, they all were! James was a year older than me, the twins were two years older than me, Daniel was three years older than me and Beau was the oldest and he was 4 years older than me.

"I'm the oldest one here so you all have to listen to me" Beau said while standing up bravely.

"Well, I am not going to" I stood up and laughed at him. He started chasing me around trying to tickle me.

"LUKE! LUKE LUKE LUKE LUKEYYYY!!!! SAVE MEEEEE"
I cried out while Beau and Jai tickled me and James and Daniel joined them.

"I'M COMING NIKKI! NO NEED TO FEAR SUPER LUKE IS HERE!!" Lukey announced as he ran to my rescue, tripping on a cable but standing right up.

"IM GONNA PEE MYSELF"
I LAUGHED OUT

"EWWWW NIKKI" James giggled and continued to tickle me.

As Luke came and pulled me up, our parents all came towards us.

"Luke, Jai, Beau, James, Daniel, Nikki...." Gina, the Brook's mom said, "we need to tell you guys something"

Gina looked at my mom and poked her. My mom stepped forward and said "Kids sit down.."

We all sat in a line wondering what was going on.

"Nikki's grandmother has cancer, she's in the states, in Los Angeles..." my mom said, I started to cry, "Nikki, her father and I have to go to the states to take care of her..."

"NOOO," I burst out crying and got up "I CAN'T LEAVE MY FRIENDS, IS THEIR ANY CHANCE GRAMMY CAN COME HERE? WE CAN TAKE CARE OF HER HERE, WE ALL CAN"

"Nikki she can't fly, the doctor told her to stay there, your grandpa is gone and there is nobody to take care of her, we're her only family... I'm sorry Nikki, I truly am..." my mom looked at all of us, we were all crying, we were going to be separated "I'm sorry boys, to all of you.. to James and Daniel, to Beau and Luke and Jai, I'm sorry... Nikki and I are leaving in a day"

"This can't happen" I ran away from my mom and into the bushes. I sat down on the floor crying. I heard a noise behind me but it didn't matter, I ignored it.

A soft voice behind me called my name "Nikki" it was Luke, I knew it was, I recognized it, I turned around and hugged him tightly, sobbing into his jumper.
