You could call me stubborn

The next 9 or so hours were awful Liam was hysterical and it took me singing for an hour strait to actually get him asleep.  And, when he finally did it was in my lap.  Dylan had been silent ever since his break down.  So when the door opened it scared both of us equally.

"Well have you made your decision yet?"

"Well based on the fact you haven't told us anything...no."

"You can either give in and join our orinazation or I will torture you until you comply."

"What is your organization?"

"You will be trained to kill and torture useful people, that's all you need to know."

"What about Dylan, and Liam?"

"I mostly need you so they will stay here until I find need for them."

"Why do you need me?"

"Because you are young smart and hate being controlled."

"No"

"Excuse me?"

"I said no, I won't "comply". I may hate being controlled but I could never be a monster like you!"

"Never say never my dear, and I hate to see you choose this way, it's a shame to ruin such a pretty face."

And with that he went and closed the door.  We didn't talk for the rest of the night (which I was grateful for)  The night went by and pretty soon I heard the heavy breathing of the brothers.  I sat there thinking about the days and probably weeks to come.  I came to the conclusion that no matter what I wouldn't let Liam or Dylan get hurt. Dylan my best friend of seven and a half years, I sat there and thought about all the times we had together. I smiled as I remembered when I had my appendix removed last year and he came and stayed with me at the hospital.  I couldn't help but think about all the lunches in the school cafeteria where he would stand up for the shy smart nerdy girl.  And then I remembered my sixteenth birthday when he showed me the video he made of the last six years of us together filled with pictures I didn't even know he had taken.  After that I remembered when I took my drivers test and he teased me about how worried I was (Being six months older he had already passed).  I was so lost in thought I hadn't realized Dylan had woken up at was no looking at me with a worried expression.

"Look you're not going to change my mind, so you might as well stop thinking about it."

"I know, but I don't know what they're going to do to you and I don't want you to get hurt."

"I'll be fine.  I always am, aren't I?"

"This is different 'Kenzie."

"How? You shouldn't underestimate my ability to get myself out of sticky situations.  I've been doing it since I was three."

"Please 'Kenzie listen to me, I can't do anything and its killing me."

"Just be here with me now and stop thinking about it."

"MaCk?" I jumped at the new voice

"Hey sleepyhead." I got up and sat down next to him

"What's gonna happen to you?  Are you going to leave us?"

"No I'm not going to leave you the man just wants to ask me a few things and then I'll come back and get us out of here. I promise."

"Okay."

We sat in silence from that point forward. When the door opened and the girl brought us our breakfast she looked at me with sad eyes and told me that they were going to be here soon and that I needed to eat.  So I ate the apple and Liam and Dylan split the bread.  About and hour later two men came and tied my wrists behind my back and led me down a dark creepy hall.
