You sat in the Bunker with your legs hanging from the balcony. You were bored, like really bored. Dean and Sam were both doing research, and when you tried to help they just yelled at you because you kept making weird noises because it was boring work.
"I'm bored!" You yelled down as you hit your head against the banister.
"Find something to do!" Dean called up.
"Like what?" You called down.
"Like stop annoying us. Go for a walk or something." Sam answered.
"Ugh!" You said getting up and going to the bunker door. You walked out and started strolling around until you reached town and saw the pet store. "Oooo, kitties and puppies!" You said clapping your hands together. "I bet Cas would love to see them."
"I would love to see what?" You jumped about five feet in the air as you spun around to see Cas standing there in his tan trench coat and his blue tie that was backwards. His head was cocked a bit to the side.
"God, Cas, you should give me a little warning." You sighed. "I thought you would like to see the animals with me. I know you like furry things."
"That does sound like something I would enjoy." Castiel smiled.
You lead the way as you made your way into the pet shop and Cas went straight towards the kittens. You followed him over and watched as he picked up the furriest kitten. He held it up to his face and the kitten licked his nose, and Cas's face broke into a huge smile. "I like this ball of fuzz very much." Cas said.
"I think he likes you too." You said giggling as Cas rubbed the kitten against his face feeling its soft fur.
"It will be a pity to leave such a cute thing here." Cas said looking at you with the kitten still up to his face.
"Do want to adopt it?" You asked already knowing the answer.
Cas' face lit up like a christmas tree. "Where would I keep it?" He asked.
"We could keep it at the Bunker. It would be such a pleasure to have such a sweet creature to keep me company. Sam and Dean are such cry babies when I make too much noise."
"I have never seen Sam or Dean cry like a baby." Cas said looking confused.
"It's just a figure of speech Cas." You said patting his shoulder. "Let's just get the kitten."
*****
You and Cas popped outside the bunker as he carried the kitten food and the litter and all the other stuff as you held the knew kitten in your hand. Once inside the bunker you walked down and Cas put the stuff on the floor.
Sam and Dean both looked up from the books and surprise covered their faces. "What the hell is that?" Dean asked.
"It's a kitten. Cas saw him and wanted him, so I said we'd keep him here." You stated cradling the kitten.
"I'm allergic to cats!" Dean said taking a step back.
"Then take allergy medicine." You shrugged. "Besides how could you not love this face." You held up the kitten. "Meet David. Cas named him after the great King David or whatever. I guess Cas was friends with him or whatever."
"He was a great king." Cas added grabbing David and cuddling it up to his face.
"See you can't kick David out." You said. "Look how happy Cas looks."
Sam shrugged, but Dean sighed. "Fine, but it's not allowed in my room."
Cas giggled like a little girl and took David off towards the new toys we bought. Dean then joined you. "He is so cute." You said looking at Cas.
"The cat?" Dean asked.
"Yeah...." You lied
