They literally put blindfolds on us before taking off. When we arrived to where ever they picked us up and took us to wherever it was.
"I feel like I'm being kidnapped" alex said
"Youre into that shit" taylor said
We all chuckled at her comment then went quiet when we were plopped down on a comfy leather couch.
"Are we going to be raped?" I asked
"Haha. Naaah" michael laughed. I could tell it was his because of his husky voice
They removed the blindefold and we were in some screening room
"What is this? Are we watching minions?!" I asked
"No! Are we watching paper towns? Spider man? Spooderman? YouTube?!" Alex splatted out
"No no, just watch." Luke laughed sitting next to taylor.
All of a sudden the lights turned off and a song started playing. The word 'disconnected' came up on the screen, and the boys started singing. Clips of us having pillow fights, playing beer pong, cuddling, gaming, jumping off the cliff into the clear blue water, and finding the cave. Our reactions to seeing the waterfall. Everything. Even us girls singing and dancing in front of the mirror
Wait..we were recorded the whole time..
It cut a couple times to them singing and playing their instruments.
Wait..this makes sense why they kept leaving. Why didn't they tell us though?
"That was so cool" I said "but why didn't you just tell us?"
"We wanted everything to come naturally" dave said with a smile.
"Oh"
"People act different when they know they are being filmed. I decided not to tell you, and to just have cameras placed everywhere. To make the video seem more believable. You know? This all make sense with the song they are singing." He explained
We all looked around and 'oh'ed.
"We're sorry for over reacting." We said.
"Its totally understandable, we would've done the same if you guys kept disappearing and we had no clue why. But did you guys like the video?" Calum said and put his arm over alex
"Hell ya it was awesome!" We said flailing our arms in the air
"Now let's go ACTUALLY start our vacation. Together this time." Mikey smirked and chuckled
"Let's do it" we said and got up.
"Wait." I said
"What?"
I picked up up Michaels guitar and started plucking strings. Liel got on Ashton's drums and alex grabbed calums bass. Taylor grabbed a guitar and placed mics in front of us all and we started singing disconnected.
After we were done they just started at us
"What?" We asked.
"That was fucking awesome!" Michael yelled throwing his hands up in the rock out sign
"Thanks" we blushed
We put the instruments away.
"Sorry I had to" I laughed and intertwined my fingers with Michaels.
We walked to the van and hopped in.
I'm so ready to finally start this vacation. For real this time.
