WARNINGS: Cussing
Y/Ns POV
There's always something new happening in Beacon Hills: demons, crazy alphas, or werewolf somethings, but something we haven't dealt with yet is what I like to call the devil.
I call it the devil because we have learned this creature makes deals with people and does not give them the full truth, so they fulfill what they want but die as soon as they have what they want, and people can be, well, let's say... selfish.
So here I am at Scott's, trying to find out where and who the next person is.
"We need to find out what they're targeting," Isaac says, looking at Scott. "Ya, we need to know if this is a matter situation or something else."
I'm sitting in a chair, looking over some yearbooks that had been put in my lap when I walked in.
BAM, the door opens. "I HAVE SOMETHING-well...I hope I have something!" Stiles entered the house, shutting the door he had slammed open when he showed up.
"Okay, so everyone who has died is in their early twenties, right?" Stiles says, setting down a notebook and some papers he brought.
"Uh, ya, the guy from the gas station was only 22, the girl-" "Carol." Lydia says, "Right, sorry, Carol was 21. The eldest one we have is James from that one dinner, and he was 25," I say, shutting the book in front of me.
I smirk. "I found something too." I pull the yearbook from my lap and put it on the table so everyone can see. "Everyone who has died so far went to the high school the same year, just different classes," I say as everyone looks through it.
While everyone talks, I look through the hear book, seeing if we can tell who'll be next.
"Okay, but what is special about these couple of students?" Derek says everyone shrugs.
I look at everyone, "What if it's supernaturally related?"
"Isn't everything in the town?" I roll my eyes at Stiles's sarcasm.
"Well, ya, but what if they were all supernatural somehow?" I say, crossing my arms.
"Not possible," Scott says, " Derek and I checked, they didn't have any sent or fangs or anything to show they were"
It was quiet while everyone thought, "They all died after making the deal they chose, right?" Scott nods at my question. "What if they didn't want to be supernatural anymore...I mean, think about it: you go looking for a way to not be this so-called monster as you see it one says there's a way, and they can help you in a desperate call for help, but you don't listen to everything they say, and they just...kill you..."
I watch everyone think about it. "Well, ya, cuz they're not lying. They did take the so-called monster out of you. They just took you with it," Allison says from Scott's side.
"Does that mean we just wait till someone asks for help?" Peter asks, "No, they would have had to have made a deal back then for it to be a problem now," I say, looking at Scott
Scott nods "Okay we all will go see if we can find anything at the library about this and how to fix it, y/n you stay here and see if you can find who's next in that yearbook, Derek stays here and keep an eye out in case something shows up" Derek rolled his eyes hating being told what to do by a teenager.
✨ Time skip ✨
Derek is lying down on the couch. He had dozed off while I was looking through that yearbook I'm not recognizing anyone- is that...fuck.
I get off the couch, leaving the yearbook and Derek, leaving, shutting the door, which makes Derek wake up. Derek gets up, looking for y/n, thinking she went to the restroom. He walks over to the yearbook, looking down at it, when Scott and then show up. "Derek?" Scott says.
