★★★★★★✩✩✩✩ (6 out of ten stars)

This book had a good concept, and I enjoyed the fact that she actually wanted to go to the palace, unlike most of the fanfictions, which mainly show us a protagonist that is a copy of America (I love America, but seeing her mini me hundreds of times is annoying).

Now, this book is finished, so I know she can't go back and rewrite it all, but I do suggest that she go back and check for grammar mistakes! (I make a lot of mistakes, too!)

The writing at the beginning was a little bland in a way. I saw a lot of repetitive phrases, like "like a river", "breathed a laugh", etc. Also, the minute Amelia came to the palace, she had fallen in love with the prince. It was a bit unrealistic.

I also disliked the fact that Beckett didn't even pay attention to any of the girls after he met Amelia. They had gone on three dates when most of the girls hadn't even been on one. It annoyed me a lot.

My favorite part of the book was Serena. I can't wait to read the next book mainly because of her. Her character was realistic, funny, and sarcastic. She was extremely relatable--she was practically every single fangirl with her humorous remarks!

I did notice that the fourth book in the series is about Serena, so I definitely will pick it up. Have any of you read it?

I enjoyed this story alright, and I hope the writing is more detailed in the next one though!

What was your thoughts on this book? Favorite part? Least favorite?
