The Daughter of Illéa
By: Kid-In-DisguiseSummary: Delilah Primar is basically Cinderella-- with the evil step sister and mom and doting Prince. When her mom died, her father married rich, and boosted them up from 6 to 2. When the Selection comes around, both her and her step sister are chosen to compete for the prince's hand.

I give this book 6.5 out of 10
I enjoyed many parts of this book, including the prince, and many different characters and scenes, but Delilah Primar wasn't one of them.
Her character drove me up the wall basically-- even more than America did. She just annoyed me slightly.
I did, however, really like Charleston, her best friend. She was fun and sensible and smart. She was probably my favorite character in the book.
Despite some minor grammatical errors, the English was OK. I think some chapters were mixed up and didn't have separate paragraphs (though I'm sure it's because of wattpad) most of it wasn't too bad.
The plot was good, full of twists, and I appreciate that they didn't meet on the first night, like many do in fan fictions these days. I have to say though, the prince came off as a major flirt. He definitely wasn't my favorite love interest on Wattpad, and I liked how he was differently unique in his own way.
I really liked the author's writing style. It was modern and cool and easy to understand.
My input for the next couple years would be to correct the grammatical mistakes in the last chapter if she wants to re-edit. If she was going to rewrite it completely (which she isn't) I wouldn't have any major changes because it was over all a good book.
