The doctors were wheeling me to the recovery dorms where I was told I would be sharing a room with a stranger. They won't tell me anything about my room mate because they said it would take away some of the things we could talk about to get to know each other. I glanced at a clock hanging in the hall; it read that is was 3:37 p.m. I sighed and decided to just close my eyes until we got to the rooms.

When we finally reached our destination, she handed me a card key to unlock the dorm door. To make sure it worked I tested it out and sure enough, the little red light turned green and I was wheeled into the room to find that my room mate was a 87 year old woman who had defeated cancer twice and still had all her real teeth.
