Italics is flashbacks
Also, there is a scene in here that's a little bit gory, so trigger warning

Tomura held his arms as tightly as he could to his chest. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop them from shaking as tiny scales pushed through his skin.

Everything hurt.

He wanted to make it stop

Why couldn't he get it to stop?

He needed help

Someone help!

As the feeling of panic overtook him, the pain shot across his body as his bones snapped and large scales ripped out of his skin.

-

"Master, I need something."

The masked figure sitting behind the desk sighed.

"Because God forbid you actually stop by from time to time to just say hello."

Shigaraki growled.
"The halfie escaped."

"I fail to see how that's my problem, Tomura. You're a big boy, aren't you? Take care of it yourself."

Shigaraki scratched at his throat.
"That fucked up dragon halfbreed was generating at least a third of your profits. Whether in admissions to the fights to catch a glimpse of it or in bets on the fight to see it rip things to shreds."

"This sounds like your screw up, so how do YOU intend to remedy this? I'm being patient now, but that won't last forever."

Shigaraki fought the urge to swallow. All of his previous confedence in his plan did NOT hold up to the glare of the infamous All for one, known for his various murder sprees and ruthlessness. He didn't want to appear nervous as he told him. It would be too dangerous.

"I know that you possess the power to do many things that lie outside the boundaries of human capabilities. Therefore, I humbly ask this of you. Turn me into a halfling, and I will bring the money and bets pouring back into your establishment myself."

"I'm interested to see where this goes, so why not." His eyes glitter red, and a shiver ran down Shigaraki's spine.

"Follow me."

-

It was too much. He couldn't handle it. He squeezed his eyes shut and fell to the ground. He gagged and vomited all over the floor. His throat burned, but it just kept getting hotter and hotter until it felt as if he was coughing up fire.

He wrenched his eyes open and stared at the charred mess underneath him.

It didn't just feel like fire. It was fire.

Where his hands had been holding him up, there were now talloned paws digging into the floor, leaving huge gashes.

"H-elp m-me," he moaned, falling to the ground. But what came out of his mouth instead was not a human sound. It was a growling mess that could not be deciphered.

He laid there, with fire still tickling at the back of his throat, burning his nose, and making it almost impossible to breathe.

Why was no one coming to help him? Where were they?

-

It had been risky going to All for one. Shigaraki knew this. But there had been nothing else that he could do.

He had made the right decision, though.

At least that's what he told himself as he crawled through the shattered glass on the floor. He was only wearing a pair of thin shorts, so the wet glass cut deeply into his palms and a knees.

The transformation fluid had worked, but when he had transformed, it had shattered the glass testing vessel that he had been in.

Seconds later, he had reverted back to his human form. He had tried to stand, but his legs shook and collapsed as soon as he put his weight on them. So he was forced to crawl across the busted glass.

His palms stung, and he could see a trail of blood from where he had crawled across the floor. Something wasn't right. The world felt all twisty. His stomach rolled as black dots appeared in his vision. He shifted his weight to his legs to sit up, but the sudden change caused a horrible pounding in his head, and he collapsed face first into the shards of glass.

When Tomura woke up, someone had taken him to his room. He glanced around at the familiar walls, immediately feeling more at ease. His cheek stung like an open wound, and his knees felt achy and sore, but other than that, he seemed to be fine. His stomach rumbled loudly.

Oh, he was hungry.

The door creaked open, and Dabi stuck his head in.

Something smelled good.

"Hey boss, how are you feeling now that you're awake?"

Dabi grimaced. "Put the horns and teeth away. They're disgusting."

If Dani wasn't holding something, where was that delectable smell coming from?

He had to figure out where that smell was coming from.

His stomach rumbled again, louder this time.

He stood, stumbling his way over to Dabi.

"S-mells good -" He stopped short when the smell got stronger.

Shigaraki's red eyes darted down as he noticed Dabi's bloody knuckles.

Blood

That's where it was coming from.

The next few moments seemed to play out on their own as Tomura practically tackled Dani latched his teeth around his throat.

Dabi pushed and thrashed, but Shigaraki didn't let go.
He needed to let go, but oh, it tasted so good.

He yanked backward and ripped out a mouth full of flesh.

The screaming in his head seemed to quiet down, as did Dabi's.

That felt so much better.

He was just about to go in for the last few bites when he heard a scream.

"OH MY GOD! IS THAT DABI?! OH MY GOD, NO!"

Toga.

She would taste perfect.

As yellow slitted reptilian eyes slid up and rested on Toga, she screamed and ran, but it was already too late.

Shigaraki howled as more of his body transformed, and he fell into fast pursuit behind Toga.

There was no point in her running. He had caught up in less than 30 seconds, and no matter how much she screamed, nothing could help her now.

-

Oh

That's why no help was coming.

Regret flooded his mind as he remembered.

Wings tore out of his back, and he screamed.

The transformation was complete.
