I was sent back to my room and grounded for the next week. That's not gonna stop me. In determined to know what's behind that door. I went to sleep and had a horrible nightmare.
I had opened the door only to be pushed back violently. Above me I see a really messed up looking girl. She looks at me with an evil grin and says Do You Hear The Whisper Men- The Whisper Men Are Near-If You Hear The Whisper Men-Then Turn Away Your Ear-Do Not Hear The Whisper Men-Whatever Else You Do-For Once You've Heard The Whisper Men-They'll Stop And Look At You
Those words echoed off of my skull. "No Stop! Stop That! Please!" It echoed louder and louder. I could hear my self screaming now. "STOP! I DIDNT HEAR ANYTHING! I DIDNT! STOP IT! PLEASE!" I woke up in a pool of sweat. My mom was beside me, looking concerned. "Are you okay. You were screaming so I tried waking you and you got louder.Are you okay?"
Still catching my breath, I managed to speak."Mom, Im fine." My words didnt even convince me. She wanted to ask more questions but just shook her head not wanting to upset me.
My mom sighed. "Okay sweetie.Breakfast is ready...."
"Thanks mom." I sat up, thinking: Maybe the door is the reason for this nightmare? Am I being warned somehow? What is going on... It didn't matter. I was gonna find out what was behind that door!
