When Alley entered the class the next morning, she saw Destiny talking with their teacher with her eyebrows furrowed. She dropped her backpack against the wall and walked towards them.

"Is everything okay?"

Destiny turned and smiled. "Oh nothing to worry about. There are some changes in the cast and Vicky is the black swan now."

Alley's eyebrows rose and looked at looked between them two. "And what is your roll now?"

"I'll be one of the prince's friends." Destiny smiled.

Mrs. Monica sighed and smiled sympathetically. "I'm sorry dear."

"It's totally fine. As long as I am in the act I'm fine." She grinned.

Alley laughed and draped her arm around her best friend's shoulder.

"Alright," Their teacher chuckled. "We'll so some barre work before we get to practice."

Both of them nodded before they hurried towards their bags and slipped on their flat ballet shoes. Everyone lined up on the barres and stood in their positions, fresh and ready. Vicky had a smirk on her face the entire time, glancing at Destiny every once in a while. Destiny on the other hand, looked at Alley beside her and rolled her eyes, making her friend sniffle a laugh.

"Now dear, you have to walk to the far corner and then walk towards Christopher." Mrs. Monica instructed Alley. "Come on, on last time and we are done for today sweet."

Five hours straight of practice made Alley exhausted, covered with sweat and skin flushed red. When she finished, she slowly walked towards her bag and took a sip of water from her bottle. Then she headed out of the classroom and sat in the hallway, taking her point shoes off. Sure enough there are some blisters beginning to appear on her toes under the pink tights.

She sighed and rested her head back on the wall. From the far end of the hallway, she head some giggles and squeals, making her snap her eyes open and turn to the source of sound. And there Vicky was seated on a boy's lap, his face was hidden from Vicky's torso. But when the boy snaked his arm around her, his hands appeared, light reflecting on the rings on his fingers which looked oddly familiar to Alley.

Vicky stood up and gave the boy a peck on the lips before turning and walking away from him, giving Alley a cold stare. Once, Alley saw who was sitting there, shock and confusion filled her face. There, sat Harry with messy hair and swollen lips. Alley didn't know why but she felt a strange filling bubble inside of her that made her look away and hopping he didn't notice her staring at him.

Footsteps padded against the wooden floor and Alley still acted like no one was there. Black boots appeared in front of her and she looked up to be met with furrowed eyebrows.

"Harry," she said, looking back down at her point shoes. "Since when do you come here?" she gulped.

"A long time ago but you never noticed me." He responded, bending down to sit next to her.

Alley only nodded without looking at him, massaging her thighs.

"So I guess you know Vicky, huh?" Harry asked, turning to look at her, making her squirm under his gaze.

"Yeah," she coughed. "Is she your girlfriend?" The words slipped from her mouth before she knew it, her face turning bright red.

"We didn't label it yet but I'm planning to ask her soon."

Fury filled Alley's body while she thought what happened the other day when she was alone with him in class. She thought about how he touched her and whispered in his ears. Could it all be just a joke? What did he mean by his actions?

"Oh, well, you should ask her she seems nice." Even though Alley knew that she wasn't any near nice but she was a show off and especially now that she has the black swan roll, Alley needed to be polite and nice. "Although never talked to her much." she added.

Harry only nodded and looked down his lap. Alley took the opportunity to look at him. He has some stubble and his jaw was tense, deep in thought and she wondered why. His arms where inked with tattoos, a rose on his elbow grabbed her attention and she immediately knew that it was her favorite.

Harry suddenly turned to look at her, holding a stare. His eyes where a deep shade of green, captivating her. He looked like he was looking into her soul, which made chills run down her spine. But they were still staring into both eyes. Something flashed behind Harry eyes but she didn't quite catch it. It was unreadable.

Alley finally looked away, stuffing her shoes in her bag, taking her black short before putting them, peeling off her tights on he toes and slipping on her flops.

"I have to go," she said, swinging her back on her shoulder.

"Wait," he said, standing up. "Do you have a ride?"

"Yes." she lied and turned on her heels, her heart thumping in her chest. She didn't want to be near him at all at the moment. Not after what she felt after the small staring competition they had.

When she stepped outside, she breathed in the fresh cool air, closing her eyes briefly. Alley felt trapped inside, like the oxygen was knocked out of her body. Turning, she saw Harry was still standing there behind the glass doors, looking at her with his hand running through his hair. He then began to walk towards the door and Alley started to walk away. A few seconds after, she heard the door open and a voice calling after her.

"Alley wait," She stopped and turned around. Sure enough, Harry was walking towards her, calmly. "You don't have to lie to me, you know." He said once he was standing in front of her.

"Fine," she responded firmly."I don't want you to drop me off."

Harry only smirked and tucked some baby hairs behind her ear. Her heart began to thump faster, like it's going to be ripped out of her chest at his gesture.

"You look like you're about to pass out, Alley. Are you okay?" Hint of sarcasm was laced in her voice.

"I'm fine," she looked away. "I'm just tired from practice."

Harry shook his head and leaned down. "Liar." he whispered.

Alley gaped at him with her eyes wide. She wanted to slap that smirk off his face so bad.

"Come on, Alley, just admit that I make your heart race and chills run through your body."

Alley scoffed and raised her eyebrows. "You're so full of yourself Harry, aren't you?" She stepped back and shook her head. "You make me feel nothing, Harry. Absolutely nothing." She said before walking away.

And she lied, again.
