-Child hood-
Kate: "Mom look I found a butterfly!"
Mom: "That's amazing sweetie it looks beautiful!"
Kate: *Smiles* "Thank you, I'll name him Jasper".
Mom: "Jasper? Like the little friendly ghost?"
Dad: "Hey Linda I need to speak with you for a moment?"
Mom: "Alright I'll be there, sorry Katie but we need to get inside".
Kate: "Ok mom".
I stay in the living room while my parents talked in the study.
Dad: "Listen I got a job opportunity in the neighboring state and I want to take you with me so you can have a job".
Mom: "But what about Kate? She is still a little girl, can we take her with us?"
Dad: "I don't want to make it hard for her so I'm deciding to leave her with my mom".
Mom: "Christopher I don't think that is a good idea".
Dad: "What are you saying my mom is a bad person?"
Mom: "No not at all! I'm just saying that we shouldn't abandon Kate like this,"
Dad: "She will be find, she starting middle school soon so she is already going to want to be independent".
-Back to the Present-
I hated my dad decision for leaving me like that, I wish they can visit me more often but work always get caught up and apparently it's more important. I was in the kitchen and I check the time 01:30, a while has passed and I feel like time was getting faster but something seemed pretty off. It seemed too quiet and the atmosphere felt too still. I re-lit my candle and made my way to the living room once more.
Out of nowhere I heard a loud stomp, I ran to the study room. It sounded loud almost like an elephant was stomping in rage. I felt eyes watching me and as if someone was breathing against my neck, but the breathing wasn't soft...it was heavy. I turned around and my eyes met with a flashy pair of red lights that quickly went away. I almost screamed but I managed to keep it in. I quickly lit the candle and checked the time, 01:56. Am starting to not like this game. I left the study and walked down the hallway.
