I was to scared to go back to the living room at the moment. I still couldn't stop thinking about the fact that now there is something trying to hunt me down, especially in my own house. I went up stairs making sure to avoid mirrors. I learned that mirrors can't be looked at. I still remember the image i saw in the mirror earlier in the game. It was a large black shadow it had a horrific grin that looked like the teeth were missing, it looked like a cliff face. I checked the time and it reads 2:01. Time is now going slow but it feels like the atmosphere has become more tense and more ominous. I wanted the game to end as soon as possible but that wasn't in my power. I went to my parents room once more and re-lit my candle. I saw a picture of my family before my parents left. I see my parents crouching happily besides me while hugging my small frame. I remember the person who took the picture. I started to cry.

-Past Memory-

Grandma: "Kate do you think this is a joke?"

Kate: "No grandma, it wasn't my fault! she was insulting me!"

Grandma: "I don't care what you say, you could have prevented this fight and you shouldn't have lied to me you little slut. Give me the belt and the hot sauce bottle"

I started to shed tears but I still listened, if i didn't the bat would have got me

I listened to my grandma's order of drinking the hot sauce she had me drink, I couldn't swallow it nor spit it out until my punishment was over.

Grandma: "If you didn't lie to me you wouldn't have gotten the hot sauce. If you behaved better you would have gotten the belt. Now you need to learn better you bitch"

This punishment would last for minutes, sometimes hours. I hated her so much; she would even beat me without having a reason at all.

-Present-

My grandma died in a car accident, the child social service almost took me away but didn't thanks to my aunt who does visit me every so often. She comes every other weekend to give me groceries and to keep me company. She is planning on letting me stay with her until my parents come back home for work.

I snapped out of my head and remembered my top priority. I checked the time and saw it was 2:30. I left the room and went to the living room once more.
