The Hospital Meet (Phan)

Chapter 5- Communication

Dan's POV

They've run the first test on me. It wasn't so bad. Waiting for results is the worst part. I only have to take two more tests. Then, once the tests are done, I have to stay in the hospital until all side effects of a concussion are gone. Looks like I'll be here for another week or so. But, I'll have Phil literally just staring at me the whole time. Maybe we can get to know each other better. Maybe we can become more than friends. No. He's not gay.

Phil's POV

Dan will be here for another week. A week where I get to watch after him and care for him. I was so nervous for him during the tests, but he did amazingly. All of his tests are over and now it's about an hour until I get the results. Until he gets the results. I hope we receive an answer that won't cause any trouble. I'm 99.9% sure everything is fine and that the dizziness was just part of the side effects. My break is over, so I head back to Dan's room. When I walk in, I see him innocently playing with his hands.
"Hey, Dan!" I greet him.
"Hi, Phil!" He replies.
"How are you feeling?" I ask him, almost rolling my eyes at how annoying that question must be.
"A little traumatized, that's all." He answers hesitantly.
"Why are you feeling traumatized?" I ask worriedly.
"Those tests were just a little scary and I'm nervous for my results." He states.
"Everything will be okay, Dan." I tell him, yet again getting annoyed at all the stupid things people tell you when you're sick or injured.
"Thanks, Phil. That means a lot." He smiles at me.
"So, are you in school, or do you have a job?" I start conversation.
"Um, I dropped out of university a while back. It just wasn't for me. I'm now a pretty popular youtuber." He says enthusiastically.
"Oh my gosh! How did I not know? I'm a youtuber too! I want it to be my full time job sooner or later, I'm only working here because I need the extra money for my flat." I tell him excitedly.
"That's awesome! My channel is Danisnotonfire. What's yours?"
"Mine's AmazingPhil! I like your channel name! I'll watch some of your videos on my next break!" I say.
"Touché." He replies.
"How old are you?" I ask randomly.
"I'm 24, you?" He replies.
"I'm 28. When's your birthday?" I ask him another question, getting to know him is fun.
"My birthday is June 11th, when's yours?" He tells me.
Adding his birthday to my mental calendar, I tell him my birthday. "January 30th."

After we've chatted, I feel like I know him so much better. I'm really falling for him.

A/N: HEY GUYS! I'm so sorry it took me foreverrrr to update. I was too lazy to edit the next couple chapters thoroughly to make sure everything was perfect in my eyes until I realized that it doesn't have to be perfect and I'd just like to make this fun for you guys to read :) I don't know when I'll update the next chapter. I might try to do daily updates and I already have chapter 6 written. So yes, I've made my desicion! DAILY UPDATES IT IS! (Unless I'm really busy). So tomorrow, you guys will be getting chapter 6!
