Phil's POV
-
I can't believe it! Dan Howell is standing in the elevator I just walked into. I knew he lived here, obviously. But he doesn't know I live here.
"Hi", he says nervously.
"Hey. How are you?" I ask.
"I-I'm good, how about you?" Dan replies.
Awe, that's cute, he stuttered! "I'm good, quite tired. Thanks for asking." I feel awkward; I don't know what to say now.
"Thanks for treating me at the hospital, Mr. Lester."
"Oh, don't thank me, it's my job! By the way, my name's Phil." I smile at him. I hear the elevator ding and Dan walks out. We're stopped on the eighth floor. It's the floor that Dan lives on. I feel the need to walk with him, so I do.
"Do you live on the eighth floor?" Dan asks.
"No, just the vending machine on my floor is broken so I came to use the one on this floor." I reply, awkwardly because it's a total lie.
"Oh, cool. What floor do you live on?"
"I live on the ninth floor, room 933." I say.
"Wow, really? I live in room 833, one floor below you!" Dan exclaims excitedly.
"Cool, well I'm going back to my room, it's late. Bye, Dan." I say.
"Wait! I'd like to hang out sometime. You seem nice and I don't have many friends... Scratch that I kind of have none. Could I have your number?"
"Sure, I'll text you when I get to my room." I accept maybe a bit too eagerly. We exchange numbers and I walk back to the elevator with a big grin on my face.

Dan's POV
-
Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh! I actually just asked Phil Lester Lester for his number and only five minutes earlier I didn't know his first name! After I've processed all that, I finally walk into my room instead of standing in the hallway like a weirdo. Suddenly, I start feeling dizzy. I fall. Everything goes black.
