New So Called Friend

Well it's been like 3 weeks since I've came here to Hertsfeld and well let's say, me and John haven't crossed paths again since that pizza day.

I was annoyed at mum at first for the surprise she gave me, because hey what star like me would work when I can get anything at the click of my fingers, but mum wanted me to feel more connected to the town and the people and so I thought about it for awhile an decided maybe she is right and what could possibly be bad.

"Hey girlfriend, there you are how many times have I told you not to come late", Barney sighed throwing his hands up in the air. "Ooops, sorry Barney, you know how it is I have to look pretty for my customers", I say. I know, I've been coming late but hey I'm attracting more customers aswell, so in a way Barney should be happy and pleased and not scold me.

Break time happened and I went to Melissa who was my co-worker and new friend , she's so friendly and nice always cheerful, we decided that we would go to this new cafe called Suzie's Quicky Cafe. Let's hope they serve quickly as our break time is only 15mins.

"Ready,Alexis?", Melissa asked. "Yep", I say. We went in Melissa's car and drove off. I know that I'm famous and everything and I thought people would take advantage of me but no one really cares that much, it's as if I only existed in the first week and now everyone is doing their own business. Oh well better for me either way.

We arrived at the cafe and it was so pretty and rustic. Melissa ordered a black coffee and a sandwich that had some filling in it, I ordered some mouthwatering desserts and we ate and talked about each others life, we were still getting to know each other.

Melissa was talking to me but I zoned out as usual, until I thought I was hearing things when she said "I have a cousin whose", I didn't let her finish because I answered for her "wait he has blue eyes, blonde hair, is muscular but slim and is it anyhow by chance someone named John?". "'Yes OMG how did you know, have you met him?", Melissa bombarded questions on me. Hey hey Melissa waved her hands in front of me.  "What umm yes well kinda in the plane we were sitted next to each other and like two weeks ago ,we met again at first he was delivering food at my house and then when I went to buy pizza", I quickly finished talking and took a big bite out of my vanilla swirl cheesecake, which btw tasted amazeballs. 

We went back and Melissa wouldn't stop talking, but then I thought back how these two are soo different. John is so mean and so up himself who does he think he is a king. Why are you even thinking about him Alexis, what is he to you just because you haven't seen him for two weeks doesn't mean you should think about him. 

We arrived back at the parlour and went back to work.

Carl made some of his Italian food for mum and me to try. "Here you go lady and gentleman", he winked at me while saying the gentleman part. I made a face at him cause I couldn't throw anything else at him like I could throw the spoon at him but then that would injure him. 

I helped with the dishes and went to my room and texted dad, sending him a message saying goodnight and take care. 

I changed into my new sleeping outfit which mum bought ,it was very comfy, it was a pink cheetah printed pants with a cute half sleeve top. I layed down and received a text message from Melissa. I read the message and she said that she talked to John about me and that he's going to visit us tomorrow at work with some of his mates.

OMG this can not be happening, why Melissa did you have to ask him about me, I bet he told her all bad things about me.
