You and Robert had just finished eating and had cleaned up, and both you and Robert had put on the backpacks. Robert had gone to look for sheets of wood and steel, while you looked around the service counters and stuff for any useful tools. It did not look promising. The shelves were bare, batteries and tools were gone.

Half of the building was lit up, while the other half was dark. Presumably, there were solar panels powering the remainder of the lights.

Looks like this place had already been looted, you thought to yourself.

You held your gun out in front of you as you climbed over the Customer Service and Returns counter in search for anything. You squint your eyes, trying to make out what was in the back corner.

It was something red, and rectangular. You carefully walked up to it, and felt around it. It was like a case of something, and it had a handle. You grabbed the handle, and lifted it off the small hook that was securing it to the wall.

You took it to a more lit up area, and took a closer look at it. It was a first aid kit. It was medium-sized, about a foot long and 9 inches in diameter. (or around 29 centimeters long and 22.5 centimeters in diameter for those who live across the pond)

Awesome, you thought, as you undid the latches and opened it. Inside, there was a simple tourniquet, some large bandages, a roll of gauze, small bandages, scissors, gloves, tweezers, several pills of iTec™ Hie-Powaa© branded Ibuprofen, a dozen packets of anti-burn and antiseptic creams and ointments, and finally, a small flashlight, presumably, to view injuries with. You turned it on and off, relieved that it worked.

"That's useful," you muttered, as you slipped the small flashlight into your pocket. You closed the box, and latched it shut. Robert was still not back yet, was there a lot of stuff?

You set down your backpack, and crammed the first aid kit into the few last remaining inches of space. It fits.

You lifted the backpack up, and put it on. You fished the flashlight out of your pockets, and took a look at it. It would fit really nicely on your gun. You just needed to find some tape. You put everything back in your pockets.

You went to the tools and tape section, and crawled around, looking under the shelves, reaching the top of them, looking for anything, until your fingers brushed against something. You stood on your toes, trying to grab it, until you managed to get a hold of it.

You pulled it down.

It was a pack of two JB Weld tubes. Perfect! You pulled the gun and the flashlight out, and set them down on the floor. You took out your knife, and ripped the package open. You set down the two tubes on the floor, and cut out a strip of tough plastic from the edges of the package.

You opened the two tubes, and broke the seals with the point in the caps, and squeezed out a small blob of paste from each tube onto a flat part of the plastic packaging. You then took the small strip of plastic that you cut out, and mixed the two pastes together. After that, you used the small strip of plastic to scoop up and apply the JB Weld onto the bottom rail of your gun, making sure to fill the small gaps between sections of the rail. A portion of the bottom rail of your gun was now covered in JB Weld.

You took the flashlight, and applied a bit to a portion of the siding. You attached it on, and using some of the gauze in the first aid kit, held it in place and applied constant pressure. In 5 minutes, it should be good enough to hold itself, but it wouldn't fully bond yet. It would take a full day in order for it to fully dry and solidify.

You wouldn't be pistol whipping someone with the gun anyways, so that wouldn't be a big concern. You put it in your pocket, with some extra gauze to prevent any JB Weld from getting out of the rails and sticking to your pants.
