"Begin."

At Subaru's command, Magical Girl Ai took flight and, with Angelica, went to attack.

"Mizuno boruto."

"Απεργία."

A water bolt and a multitude of mana blasts soared towards him. But while thinking fast, he blocks the attacks by firing an arc of magical energy, dispersing the water bolt, but not all the mana blasts. However, this was by the plan as Subaru absorbed the blasts with his Imaginary Space right before impact.

He then held up a few floating jewels and chanted. "Kostbarer Pfeil." The jewels glowed before magical projectiles shot out from the gems at Ai and Angelica. However, Angelica countered with the Ainsworth's magecraft, displacing the attack back at Subaru, making him respond in kind. While Subaru and Angelica were having their battle of spatial displacement, Ai took advantage of Subaru's concentration on Angelica and went to attack.

"Wasserstrom!" As she aimed topaz at me, she invoked and launched a large concentration of water at her distracted brother. However, she failed to notice Subaru's lack of concern.

"Minya." Beatrice appeared and shoot forward purple stakes of flaming crystallized mana, blocking the concentration, sending water everywhere. Beatrice quickly followed up with another spell. "Vita."

Ai grimace as she felt the sudden increase of gravity, forcing her to the ground. This time, it was Subaru's turn to take advantage. He quickly manifested Imaginary Space behind her and released Angelica's mana blasts. This forced Angelica to shift some of her attention to Ai. By using displacement magecraft to alter the direction of the mana blasts. Beatrice quickly took advantage and fired blasts of wind at Angelica, throwing her back.

"Rima." The ground beneath Angelica broke apart, making her momentarily lose balance. Beatrice, Erebus, and Subaru then followed up with a collaboration attack.

"Jiwald."

"Shamak."

《{Unnamed spell, go!}》

With a flash of light, five heat rays shoot forth from Subaru's fingertips with shadows surrounding the rays before suddenly neither shadow nor light could be seen. Angelica's eyes narrow as she deployed Distorted Axis Barrier in front of her. Her barrier caught five attacks, but she had difficulty with perceiving them. She threw the attacks back at the contractor-spirit duo, but Beatrice and Subaru severed the magic's connection, disrupting the spells.

"Topaz!"

"I'm on it!"

Ai had recovered and poured magical energy into Topaz, who converted the magical energy into a powerful wave of light.

"Time-Flow: Acceleration." As everything slowed down for Subaru, he dropped the jewels in his hand and picked Beatrice up with his now free hand and jumped away from Ai's spell. Now in safety, he aimed Yami at her, called forth a simple curse from his internal world, and channelled it into his 'wand'.
