Hi, hello, it has been a while. I have something to announce. I am rewriting the story.

I believe that I started this story somewhere in 2021 as a way for me to satisfy my need for more Fate x Re:zero fanfics. If no one writes them, then I will be the one to write them. So, I created my own character sheet and OC. Said OC was at first just an EMIYA copy that evolved into something else with his own set of skills. At some point, I wanted the OC to have the First True Magic but quickly scratched that idea.

Then, it became a younger Subaru that got involved with the moonlit world and was found by a Magus known as Alec Velvet and became his student. This prototype would eventually become the basis for the Assassin of Pride.

Finally, at last, Subaru became Subaru Emiya-Tohsaka, an adopted son of Shirou Emiya and Rin Tohsaka, and the Warlock of Vainglory.

Over the years, I have improved in some parts of my writing while getting worse in other parts. At the start, I wrote what I came up with and let the future me deal with continuity and plans. But I quickly noticed that it got a lot more complicated during arc 2. Multiple consistencies were beginning to show itself. I got confused by my own story plans, Subaru's power level became annoying to keep track of so that it didn't make things too easy, and not to mention the constant errors that kept showing up, forcing me to correct them.

By the time I realised it, I was getting tired of writing. What started off as something fun became something that felt too consuming.

So, after careful consideration, I have decided to rewrite the story. What will be changed and what will remain, I do not know. What I do know is that I want to keep writing this story.
