Chapter

17

.. ..

I came to Rosemary house. A sick

feeling in my stomach. Rosemary house was large and scary looking. I had to

tell my legs to walk to the blood red door. I knocked softly then harder.

Rosemary opened it. Even though she still looked like a vampire she was

beautiful. She wore her blond hair in the most beautiful bun with pearls in it.

Her soft pink dress made my dress average. Her white mask made her blue eyes

shimmer. “Hello Sabrina.” She said her voice still dead sounding. “Hello

Rosemary” She smirked. “This will be the last we see each other.” She knew! My

heart pounded faster then I ever thought possible. Even though I did not want

this to be are last words I said “do not fret your pretty blond head. I will

see you in hell” her mouth dropped open and her eyes narrowed.

“Watch it Coll I am becoming

powerful and if you keep talking you will not need Chris to kill you.” she

whispered. I felt myself take a step forward into the new vampires face. “I do

not think you would want to get blood on your pretty pink dress” I pushed past

Rosemary and into her home. It was full of people. Some who did not even go to

this town. They danced across the gold floor. Unaware of what will happen in 30

minutes. I did not know what I should do. So I decided the safest thing to do

was eat. I went to a table piled high with food, took a plate sat down in the

corner and ate. It was hard to eat in peace. Men kept coming to me asking me to

dance with them but in all truth I could never dance with them. My heart or my

feet in that matter belonged to a certain vampire and not Chris. “Care for a

dance my lady?” asked the 15th man. I looked at him impatient. Ready

to yell at him when I heard the grand clock strike ..midnight...

It rang across the ballroom. “My lady?” number 15 asked. I got up and smiled at

him. “Will you hold this for me I will be right back” I said giving him my

plate. He smiled and nodded eager to please me.

            Rosemary smirked from across the

dance floor. I walked to her my head held high. Once in front of her she took

of her mask.  “It would be my honor to

show you where my room is though I think you know where it is.” She was

referring to the time I cut her hair off. “Sadly I do.” she smiled. I hated

that smile. “Have fun” Rosemary said. Then she walked away. I muttered a few

words that a woman should never say then walked to Rosemary’s room.
