  After his

stare I was shaking and I didn’t know why. When he looked at me my muscles had

acted out that way. I could not control it. I did not like it. Maria seems to

be the only one to notice. “Are you alright?” she asked softly.

“Yes”

“Are you sure?”

 “Yes”

“You look awfully pale Sabrina”

“I am fine” ....

“Do not lie to me”

“I said I am fine!!!!!!!!!” I screamed. She looked shocked

by my out burst. I am not the most patient person in the town, maybe the world

but I tried very hard to be patient when it came down to my friends, but that

glaze from that handsome scary man had done it to me. He seems to take a part

of me with him. I watched as Maria bottom lip tremble. “Oh great here comes the

tears” I said coldly. Instantly I felt bad for saying such a thing. What power

did that man have to make me asked so.

           I knew

Maria was the biggest cry baby. That was why I loved her so. Nobody cared for

her because who wanted someone who cried when you said you did not like that

dress she had on. She was the outcaste. This made me feel sorry for her. So one

day when we were 7 she was playing by herself. Some bigger kids came by calling

her a cry baby. I have a quick temper and went over to them screaming “like

your better. At less she does not get beat up by a girl younger then her” that is

when I jumped on the tallest biggest boy and punched his face till I saw blood.

I got in a lot trouble. Girls should not be hitting. Never should they. But it

was wroth it. I became Maria’s protector and nobody messed with her.

           So I was

miserable for making Maria cry. I draped my arm around Maria’s shoulder. As

soon as I did she began to cry. “I am so so sorry Maria” I said softly “please

don’t. Don’t cry.” She wiped her nose on the handkerchief I pulled out for her.

“I sorry you know I have a temper” she smiled through her tears but it only

lasted for a short while.

           There was

Rosemary Taker. I hate Rosemary more

than the lessons my mother forced me to. She was very pretty. She had beautiful

blonde hair that was always in a perfect bun. She had the prettiest blue eyes
