You held back a gasp, it was even bigger than it sounded in the books or how they pictured it in the movies!

"Come on, you gotta help me swim, I'm not draggin' you to the shore." Gray said, oblivious to the ginormous school looming above the two of you. With a sigh you started to swim to the shore.

The black water looked darker than the night sky, and you recalled a small mention of a giant squid in the lake...That wasn't a pleasant thought.

Finally, the two of you hauled yourselves to the shore nearest to you and amazingly you were dry! "Any explanation?" you questioned Gray and he shrugged, "Just kind of happens." you sighed and dusted the sand off of your clothes as you stood up and looked at the castle again. "Geez, I never thought I'd see the day..." you muttered, not realizing you said it out loud. Gray raised an eyebrow and stood beside you, both of your gazes falling on the castle.

"What is this place?" he asked, and you took a deep breath, preparing to launch into a long summary of the seven books. "Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, we're in Great Britain and watch out of Slytherin."

He seemed to understand the first two parts of that sentence then his eyes glazed over, you sapped in front of his face, you were about to tell him to pay attention when you jumped back.

Your hands were on fire!

"Holymotherofshitwhatthehell?!" you asked, shaking your hands and sprinting to water water where you doused your hands. Gray laughed, "Guess that's your first power." You frowned and looked at your hands again, hoping they wouldn't spontaneously combust again-

"Oi!" a voice shouted fro,m the clearing and you turned to find yourself face to face with Ronald Weasley. "Who are you two?" he asked, raising his wand, "There's been some weird stuff happening and we don't need any more trouble." You held up your hands (now really hoping that they wouldn't catch fire), "We aren't trouble, we're just...we need some help. Do you think you could take us to Dumbledore?" Ron thought for a moment before lowering his wand, "Professor McGonagall would have to check you two out first." "Thanks Ron." you said and he narrowed his eyes at you. "I never told you my name."

Whoops.

Tread carefully. You thought to yourself. "Um...well, this will sound crazy but we're not from here. I mean, literally, not from here. He's from a different universe than I and I'm from a different universe than his." you explained, fumbling over the words and you glanced at Gray for help but he just shrugged as as if to say, "You're on your own kid." Dammit.

Ron just shook his head though, "This is crazier than when we went to the Chamber of Secrets." he muttered and your spirits lifted.

He must be in either his third or fourth year! That means Dumbledore, Fred, Sirius, Lupin, Tonks, Snape, and Collin are still alive! You thought happily to yourself smiling.

Back when you'd read about Sirius's death, which was by far, in your opinion, the worst death in the books. It was so sudden and it killed you just as much as it killed him.

So he led you two through the trail leading back to the school and you felt like you and Gray would stick out like elephants in a room of mice. You weren't a wizard (sadly), no wand, no school uniform, and weren't in a house. Great.

Finally you got inside and you tried to soak in every detail, the columns, the empty armors, the moving paintings, and the Great Hall. Oh the Great Hall! It was amazing, it was just after lunch so there were a few students milling around but for the most part, was empty. Floating candles danced below the ceiling which reflected the gloomy gray sky outside.
