You're Too Late

Lauren's P.O.V.

That girl was so beautiful. Last night I looked into her chocolate brown glimmering eyes and I saw nothing but beauty. I don't know why I only see her in my dreams. I guess you can call her my dream girl. I know I need to see her for longer than a couple of seconds though. I need to see her in person but I don't even know her name. Tonight when I go to sleep I will ask for her name and that's when ill start looking for her. If I imagined her I don't know what I'll do. I'll probably lose a part of me knowing that love was so close but yet so far.

Normani's P.O.V.

My mom really likes Dinah and said that she'd make a good friend for me since she can tell that she's really dedicated to her friend that's in a coma. I did think Dinah would make an excellent friend but I wanted her to be so much more than that. Dinah was so amazing and every time we talked I got butterflies in my stomach. I tried to act all cool as if her attractiveness didn't faze me but I'm pretty sure sometimes she noticed it did.

Lauren's P.O.V

I was about to sleep which is great because it will be the night I finally will find out the name of my dream girl. If I had only imagined her it will be hard for me to fall in love again because now that I've seen her I know I won't be able to settle for anyone less.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I saw her. "What is your name?" I asked.

"Camila Cabello." she replied.

And then something I wasn't expecting happened. It was the first time this had ever happened. Normally when I saw her I always faded away first but this time she started to fade away. "Help!" she said before she disappeared completely.

I didn't know what to do or what any of this meant so I started to panic. Panic caused me to shoot awake covered in sweat. Camila Cabello. Her name is Camila Cabello and I have to find out why she disappeared this time.

I sprinted out of my room which I'm sure woke my mom but I didn't look back to check. I ran up to the nurse that had been taking care of me. Her name was Ally. She saw that I was panicking and told me to calm down before my heart started messing up again or I could have another heart attack. I started taking deep breaths to slow my heart rate. Once I had composed myself enough to speak again I asked her "Is there someone named Camila Cabello in this hospital?"

"Um well yes but I don't think they're letting people in there right now."

"Why not? Has something happened to her? Please just give me her room number." I begged her. Ally was a little sweet heart and I knew she couldn't resist my pouty face so after a couple of seconds of pouting she cracked and finally gave me Camila's room number.

As I was arriving to Camila's room I saw a man, a woman, and a little girl crying. They must've been Camila's family. A girl, who didn't look like the rest of the family so I assumed she was Camila's best friend, was running up to ask what happened so I eaves dropped to hear what was going on.

"She started flat-lining and the nurses are trying to bring her back with the defibrillator but they needed everyone out of the room." The woman said through her tears.

Oh no. Camila was dying. I came too late. I had finally known the name of my dream girl but it might be too late.

I'm sorry it took my so long to update and I wish I had a good excuse but in all honesty I was just lazy. I would like to thank you guys for reading and for the comments and votes. if you have any suggestions for the next chapter I'd love to hear them. someone requested Camren for this chapter so this whole chapter is pretty much Camren. The idea of this fic however is supposed to be norminah so there will be a lot of norminah coming up. sorry this chapter is so short but I should update again within a week or too.
