Second Chances (A Greyson Chance Love Story)

Chapter 1 - The First Time

One day, YN was walking her dog, Xiya, down the sidewalk when suddenly, she was bumped by a cute and tall boy.

"Oh, I'm so so sorry. Let me help you," said the boy, apologizing.

"No, it's okay, I'm okay. No harm done," replied YN.

When YN stood up, she saw the boy's face. Both eyes met, and they stared at each other, not so long.

"You're so beautiful," whispered the boy.

*Blushes.*

"I'm Nathan, Nathan Mittenson. What's your name by the way?

"Oh I'm YN. So nice to meet you." (smiles)

"I'm really sorry for the accident earlier."

"That's okay, I'm fine."

"Uhhhmm... can I interest you in having an ice cream? It's my treat, and as an apology for bumping you."

"Sure, that would be great." (smiles)

So YN & Nathan talked a lot while eating an ice cream at the park bench. Both of them had a great time. YN was too busy talking with Nathan that her dog, Xiya, escaped her hand and ran around & round the park. They chased and chased the dog; and at the moment they caught Xiya, Nathan fell over YN. Both of them blushed at the same time, but just laughed at it.

"It's kinda getting late. I think I should be going home by now," said YN.

"Oh. Let me come with you," suggested Nathan.

"Oh no. You should be getting home too."

"In that case, can I have your number?"

"Oh sure, why not." (smiles) (gives number)

"Goodbye YN! I'll text you later!"

"Thanks for everything Nathan! Byee!"

When YN got home, her Mom already cooked her dinner. She was tired, but yet, happy. She met another friend today. After she finished her dinner, she went upstairs to clean herself. She put on her PJs then went to bed. Right before she was going to sleep, her phone beeped a couple of times. She viewed her phone, and saw an unknown number. Suddely, this unknown number called her.

On phone:

"Hey YN," said the guy.

"Oh, hello. Who's this?" replied YN.

"Oh, this is Nathan."

"Hi Nathan!"

"How is this beautiful girl I met earlier?"

"Beautiful? Oh shut up Nathan."

"But you really are! That's why I fell inlove with you!"

(Gasps) "Wha-what did you say?"

"Oh. Nothing! It was nothing."

"Yea. I thought I heard something."

"No, it was nothing. Really."

"Good. Well, I gotta sleep now. Goodnight Nathan." (hangs up)

"I lov-" (beeps) "-e you." (sighs)

Nathan's POV

I fell inlove at first sight with YN. I mean, who is not going to like her? She's beautiful, and happy to be with. I'm content with her. I'm gonna tell her everything first thing in the morning.

So Nathan texted YN, and asked if she can go to the park with him tomorrow.

The next day, Nathan immediately texted YN if she can go with him to the park.

in the meantime, YN was alarmed by the beep of her phone. She peeped at her phone and saw a text. It was Nathan; he asked Yn is she can go to the park this late afternoon. Luckily, she agreed. Nathan bought a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolate for YN.

It was nearly afternoon. YN took a bath, wore a floral dress, and headed to the park. Nathan, too, prepared for his revelation to YN. He also headed to the park.

They both came at the same time at the park; but YN gasped because of what she saw with the things Nathan is holding.

"Nathan, what's all this about?"

"Look, YN, I have something to tell you. I fell inlove at first sight with you, the other day. I am going to court you, if that's okay with you. But first I'm going to ask your parents first..."

"Nathan, I'm not sure about this... I'm still not ready... I-I-"

"No-no- Don't worry, I'm not going to rush you."

"Tha-thanks."

So... There was Nathan... he went to YN's house and asked permission. Good thing for Nathan YN's mom agreed that he can court her.

A month already passed, but still, YN hadn't gave a yes to Nathan. Then 2 months later, YN felt something in her heart, something she can't describe. Is she feeling the same way as Nathan? What should she do?
