Second Chances (A Greyson Chance Love Story)

Chapter 7 - I think I'm falling

It was nearly two months. Greyson is still courting YN. But still, YN hasn't given a yes to Greyson. Greyson said that he's never ever gonna give up, for he loved her so dearly. He did all the efforts he could do for her.

One afternoon, Greyson took YN to the park for a walk. There were so many kids running and playing at the park, there was possibly nowhere to sit or stay. Then suddenly, Greyson held YN's hand so tight. Her heartbeat skipped fast, then she looked at her hand, entwined to Greyson's. She looked at Greyson, then Greyson stared at her. She couldn't help but to smile genuinely at him. Greyson smiled back too.

It seems that YN's heart was making a spark, feeling butterflies in her stomach gradually until it reaches her lungs, and her body feels spirited, when she's with GREYSON.

After strolling at the park, Greyson took YN home. He asked permission to her Mom, if he could go home now.

Greyson: Mrs. YLN, I have to go home now. Thanks for having me here. I'm just going to prepare my clothes. I'll leave early this evening.

Mom: Oh. Okay Greyson. But you have to join us first to eat supper.

Greyson: That would be great. :)

YN heard their conversation, and felt a little left out. There will be no one anymore to make her laugh and happy, no one to have silly pranks and everything. She heard Greyson going upstairs, and asked him on the dot.

YN: You're leaving later?

Greyson: Oh, you heard that.

YN: Uhm-- yea.

Greyson: My family's going to fly to Canada to visit my grandparents. No one's going to guard the house, so Mom suggested I should be the one.

YN: Oh... I see...

Greyson: I know you'll miss me. You can stay at my house for a while. :) I'll try to ask your Mom later. I'll introduce you to my family too. Their flight is not until tomorrow afternoon.

YN: Are you sure? I doubt you your parents are not gonna like me. And besides, I'm still not your girlf--

Greyson: I know, I know, I'm just gonna introduce you as the love of my life. :)

YN: Are you sure about that? Really?

Greyson: Of course. I am sure.

YN: Okay.

Then everything went as planned. Greyson asked YN's Mom if she can stay at his house. Her Mom agreed. Then they prepared their clothes and stuff, ate dinner, and went to Greyson's house.

When they arrived, Greyson introduced her to the Chance family.First to his Mom, Lisa, then his Dad, Scott, his older sister and brother, Alexa & Tanner.

Mom: She's beautiful. Is this your girlfriend?

Greyson: No Mom, But she'll be. :)

Dad: Well, I hope so. You two would make a great couple. :)

Alexa: Yea. I'd even wish on a star. (laughs)

Tanner: Hey bro, she's beautiful. Can I have her? Hahaha.

Greyson: Hey! Hey! Back off! She's mine dude.

Tanner: Okay okay! I was just joking! Sheesh.

The laughing, jokes and chitchat went on until it was near late evening. Greyson's parents advised that they should be sleeping. Everyone acceded. Alexa suggested that YN should sleep with her. YN said yes.

When all went to their rooms and went to sleep, YN and Alexa are still babbling about random stuffs until they came at the topic about Nathan.

Alexa: So who's this Nathan huh?

YN: Oh, he's... He's my first love and first pain.

Alexa: Really? Why so?

YN: Well, it's really my fault. I felt the same way but I dodn't tell him earlier because I'm not ready yet to be in a relationship. Then he stopped courting me then one day at the park we met, then he told me he doesn't love me anymore.

Alexa: Well that's stupid. He's stupid. If he really loved you, he'd wait until forever.

YN: Yeah. I already heard that opinion from Greyson.

Alexa: No that I'm pushing you to Greyson, but I swear, he'll never hurt you or leave you. And it's the first time he's ever loved someone.

YN: To be honest, Alexa, you know what? I think I'm starting to fall for him.

Alexa: Really?! Yipee! :D oh sorry, am I too loud? Why'd you think so?

YN: When I'm with him, I feel butterflies on my stomach. My heart skips a beat, and its making sparks. I don't know. I-I can't describe it.

Alexa: That my friend is called love. Or should I say, sister-in-law. Haha.

YN: But I'm still not sure if I should say yes, because I'm still not ready. But I don't want to let him wait for so long.

Alexa: Well, it's your decision. It's up to you whether you're gonna have to let time do the work, or I don't know, tell him how you feel? I don't know gurl, I'm not an expert at that much topics.

YN: Hahaha. Well, sister-in-law! ;) You, should get some sleep. You have a flight tomorrow.

Alexa: Yeah. I forgot. OMG. Haha. Well, goodnight sister-in-law! :)

YN: Goodnight. :)

They were the last to sleep, well, not completely, YN was still awake. She can't decide what she's going to do. She thinks a little more inch of time will do.
