Wanna Get High?

(Billie's POV)

We're walking to the amusement park. It's on the other side of town.

Mike and Tre are racing down the street, and I'm walking beside this girl that I saw in english.

I don't know why I'm hanging out with this girl. She just seems......Different...... Not a weird different, but a cool one.

What am I thinking? I could have anyone, and I am choosing to hang out with this girl. But a better question is, Why haven't I noticed her before?

Oh shit........I don't even know her name, I wonder if she knows mine? What am I talking about, she probably does. Everyone at school knows my name.

"Uh, didn't catch your name before" I said

"Oh yeah, I'm Cinder, Cinder James" she said, not making eye contact with me.

"I'm Bil..."

"You're Billie Joe Armstrong, I know"

"Fuck then" I laughed

"Well it's not hard to know someone's name since you've gone to school with them for 9 years." she sighed, looking at me then quickly at the ground.

Jesus, low blow. How am I supposed to know that. I've dated almost every girl in this school, but never noticed her. Let alone her and I being in the same class for 9 years.

"It's okay that you don't know who I am, I try very hard not to get noticed."

"Why the fuck would you want to go unnoticed by anyone? Seems boring."

"It's just the way I am. I don't like being around a lot of people, so I ignore people, and they ignore me."

I guess I understand. Some people at our school are complete dicks, no matter what you do, they treat you like shit.

We get outside the park, and It's fucking closed. Why the fuck is it closed.

'Closed For Repairs' a sign posted on the gate read

"For fucks sake" I grumbled

Tre was pouting, and looking at Mike. Mike patted Tre on the shoulder.

"It's okay buddy, we'll figure something better to do" Mike said to Tre, then walking closer to me.

"What are we gonna do now?" asked Mike, clearly a little annoyed.

"Wanna get high?" I smirk, then looking over to Cinder. A worried, but confused look spread across her face.

"Hell yeah" Mike and Tre yelled in unison

We walked to my house. My mom, Ollie, wasn't home. She left for a trip to hang out with some family and friends up north. I got the whole house to myself for a month. I don't know why my mom would trust me alone, but I'm not going against it.

I unlocked the door, and Tre goes racing into the house, pushing me aside. Mike laughs and runs after Tre, who is now sitting on the couch, going through the channels.

Cinder then walks in, I walking in after her. I lead her to the living room, and she sits in the open chair.

I leave them, going upstairs to get the supplies. I grab a box hidden under my bed and bring it back down stairs. I set the box on the table, and Tre gets excited and starts jumping up and down on the couch.

I pull out some joints I already made. I passed one to Mike then Tre. I walk over to Cinder and hold my hand out for her to take it.

She looks at me, then at my hand and picks up the joint, studying it.

I pick a joint up for myself, and get out my lighter. I lit up, while Tre and Mike already lit theirs. I walk over to Cinder, and I raise my lighter. Asking without words for her to put it in her mouth and for me to light it. She puts it in her mouth and I light it.

She takes a puff, then coughs.

"Never had a joint" I smirk and laugh at her

"Never had the chance" she said, taking another puff. She didn't cough this time. Guess she's getting the hang of it.

After we finished the joints, Tre and Mike get up to look for food. When they get high, they get a severe case of the munchies.

I don't get too hungry right away. Cinder then puts out her finished joint, and lays back in the chair.

I close my eyes, not wanting to fall asleep, but to just relax. I then faintly heard someone get up and walk over to me. Me thinking it was Mike or Tre, I flip them off. The person standing in front of me then straddles my lap.

I open my eyes in surprise, and I see Cinder sitting on my lap. She tilts her head and looks at me. Her dark brown eyes staring into mine. She smirks, then leans forward. She starts kissing me, and I kiss back.

I put my hand on her back, pushing her closer to me, while she is running her hands through my curly black hair.

We make out until Mike walks in.

"Well you guys are getting real friendly" Mike laughs then sits in the chair that was once Cinders.

I take a huge breath and look over to Mike. Cinder then looks at me, she looks shocked, and worried.

She jumps off my lap and runs to grab the coat she dropped off when we walked in. She runs to the door, opens it, and sprints out.

I know that I can't go after her cause I'm high as fuck, and If I try, I will be face down in the sidewalk. So all I do is get up and walk to the open door and look out. She's out of sight.

I close the door then turn around. Tre comes out of the kitchen, and Mike is laughing uncontrollably. I look at both of them and shrug. I sit back down.

"Another?" I ask, motioning to the pile of joints.

Mike and Tre pick one up and light. I light my own and zone out
