Tears fell on the floor leaving a salty trail.
Falling on a bench in the hallway -- sobbing uncontrolably.
Pathetic; he was right, I am.
How could I ever think a vampire, -- no a PRINCE vampire, who was my master fall for me, his human slave?
Was I really so stupid?
Lost in my thoughts I didn’t hear footsteps come behind me. A hand suddenly touched my shoulder, making me jump.
“Hey calm down it’s me, Dylan”
“Oh hey” managing to fake a smile and look at him.
“Are you ok?” I could tell that he was really worried about me
“Yeah why wouldn’t I?” I tried to convince him, I wanted him to leave Dylan was a great friend but I needed to be alone.
“Natalie, don’t lie to me ok? I only want to help you”
“It’s ok Dylan, I’m really okay”
Come on… Please Leave.
“Sure ok that explains the sobs & dried tears on your face”
…. He got me
“So why don’t you tell me what’s really wrong”
