Mel

"Why do you never learn?" I asked, smirking, before saying,"Seriously, Jake, dude, you okay?"

All I got was a groan in reply.

"This time?" Dominic asked through the mind link.

"Fine." I replied.

"Alright, Mel, you drag his body. I'll inform everyone about this tragic loss..." Dom said, sounding seriously, but I could see the edge of his lips lifting.

"Okay. Sad, Jake really was fun to punch once in awhile. Too bad I took it too far." I sadly sounded.

"Ugh... What's going on? Why are you two grinning like foxes?" Jake asked. He tried to get up, but he failed. Big time. "Help me."

"AHAHAHA! Mel! My future Beta needs help getting up on his own! Seriously though, really?"

"Yes," Jake grumbled. "Please, just help me get up."

"We need to bring you to the hospital..." I muttered.

Jake

So somehow, I ended up with a broken rib and a few fractured bones, but the pack doctor said that I would heal in least than half a day. Yes, Betas do heal faster than ordinary werewolves. Let's put like this: Werewolves heal faster than humans. You already know about the Betas. And Alphas heal faster than everyone. And for some reason, an ordinary werewolf, beautiful Mel, managed to beat up a Beta. Or, at least, the son of one.

I looked over at Dom and Mel. They seemed to be talking in their mind link...

Then I noticed that Mel was blushing. That. Is. The most adorable thing I've ever seen.

As if Mel knew what I was thinking, She blushed even more. Oh god, her blush is turning me on. Aaannnddd, now, Mel is a tomato. A bright, red, delicious tomato.

"Dude, what are you doin'?" Dom hissed at me through our mind link.

"What?" I asked, out loud.

"Dude, you were talking in the mind link. We heard everything you said. Oh, and, don't you dare call my Mel beautiful. First of all, you have no right. Secondly, she is way more than beautiful."

Yeesh, Dom.

"Umm, guys? You know I'm not your mate, right?" Mel murmured.

Wait, how she'd know what we were talking to each other?

Mel interpreted. "You guys were talking our mind link that we share..."

"Oh god, that's embarrassing." Dominic and I said at once.

"Whatever. What do you guys wa-"

Suddenly, my dad barged in.

"Hello, kids.  Hey Mel, we have some rogues intruding.  A bit of help, please?" My dad rushed out, starting downstairs.
