I am not a fan of Sunflowers.
I find Sunflowers to be the most boring looking flower.
I like the taste of sunflower seeds but, I don't like the flowers.
But, sunflowers in someone's eye are thing of beauty.
The location a language k-12(with a preschool devision) school in Cairo, Egypt.
This a tale during the elementary school days of my life.
Most people in Egypt are tan with Brown eyes and dark hair. That is just a fact.
It is not unheard of for people in Egypt to be pale with blond hair and blue eyes. Just rare.
This is the story of a friend of mine who was pale with blond hair and blue eyes.
She was not a classmate but, she was the same age as me.
I sometimes see her during recess.
We are not close friends but, we are somewhat friends in the elementary school way.
Every time I saw her I got lost in her eyes.
She had the most beautiful eyes I ever saw and may ever see.
That wasn't because, I was in love.
Far from it, other then her eyes I was almost indifferent to her(key word almost).
I can not tell you her name.
Even if I was not morally obligated to not say her name I couldn't tell you.
Every time we met she have to remind me of her name.
I could never remember her name.
But, I could describe her eyes in details.
Her eyes are blue a bright blue.
The blue of her eyes looked like it was shining.
They are bluer than the sky.
Brighter then the ocean.
They have flacks of golden yellow.
And those flacks look like flower petals.
Her eye pupils look the dark part of the sunflower.
I have and will always be a lover of beautiful eyes.
Maybe my childhood mind made her eyes in to something magical in my memories.
A standard for every beautiful eyes I will ever see.
